Contradictory to the title of my post, the supposed "lost city of Atlantis" found on Google Ocean was dismissed by Google as "an artifact of the data collection process", and that the lines seen in the picture "reflect the path of the boat as it gathers the data."
Now, I'm willing to believe that Google is telling the truth, but tell me what boat makes such straight lines and such precise turns. Look at the image, they're pretty sharp if you ask me.
Anyways, Atlantis or not, thought you might find this interesting.
