[19/09] TGS '15: Final Fantasy Type-0 Online announced (replaces FF Agito)

RIP, Final Fantasy Agito and Agito+. We hardly knew you. Let us welcome in their stead, Final Fantasy Type-0 Online. This was freshly revealed at FFXV's latest Active Time Report slot of all places at the Tokyo Game Show and will be playable on PC and your trusty mobile devices.

As you can probably surmise, this is going to be the replacement for the lesser-known Agito spinoff mobile, Vita and Windows 10 game. While scheduled for release in Japanese territories this coming Spring, Square Enix have also stated that a western release is also being "considered".

Who is making this? China-based studio Perfect World. You might have heard of them before, because they're known for...well, an MMORPG called Perfect World, no less!

They darn well better consider a western release! I'd like to think the strong sales of Type-0 HD taught them that it's worth their while. Co-op was a big part of the original PSP game and then they stripped it out entirely from the remaster for logistical reasons, so I'm all for bringing that component back. Looks like fun.
