AOTW 23 Voting Thread!

Voted for number one, because it sticks out the most. It might not be the best, but it is very visible.

I voted for #3.

It appeals to me the most and I love the border and how the shape of the avatar compliments the flow of the image.

I also voted for number 1, I thought that to me with the colors he used it seemed to scream abstract to me.

It feels good and abstract, yet also has a beauty to it as well.

2 just feels a bit to... dull colored, although it's very good as well.

Hmmm I like number 2 it looks nice and the colors are pretty good which makes it look abstract so my vote goes to entry number 2.

I voted for #1. Perhaps not the most impressive in terms of effects, but overall it was the only one to stand out to me. And I'm a sucker for bright colours, I thought it looked really nice. <3

I'm going to have to go with number 1.

The other two entries just didn't stand out to me as much as the first one did. The colors of the other two weren't nearly as bright and vibrant as the first entry either, and I love bright colors. I think it really captures the abstract theme as well, so it gets my vote.

Personally I don't see what's so great about #1. What has a city at night have to do with 'abstract'? That the sky is bright colored? Nah... that doesn't call 'abstract' for me.

Art that departs significantly from natural appearances. Forms are modified or changed to varying degrees in order to emphasize certain qualities or content. Recognizable references to original appearances may be slight.

The previous was the 'definition' of abstract art as according to this page.

And it says that it's the forms that are changed... not the colors.

Then, #3 REALLY CALLS OUT ABSTRACT FOR ME, and I'd vote for it...

But I guess I'll go with #2... even if an 'eye' is something I've seen far too many times...

What Stella said. The various colours of the first avatar stand out a lot. I would vote for number two, but I can't read the text.
