Yeah, that's where I go to train, but like Bambi said, those damn metal slimes don't appear often enough.

Even so, I manage to get a ton of experience. I've been getting lucky as hell with my critical hits, though. Haven't let a King Metal Slime get away from me in a good long while.

Hero: Thunder Thrust
Yangus: Hatchet Man
Angelo: Falcon Blade/Metal Slash
Jessica: Liquid Metal Sword regular attack/Accelerate

That's how I go about it. Workin' good.

So Dragon Quest IV is being released on the DS in a couple of days. Anyone excited for this? I am. xD Never played a Dragon Quest game before so I'll start it off with IV, I suppose.

It's defo something I'l be looking to invest in, VIII was an epic game, although annoyingly, for ages, nothing I really wanted has come out, and now it's all coming out at once -__-

I might have to do a toss up between this and FFIV actually.....although I've already played most of FFIV on the PS....I just got lost towards the end......ugh, I dunno xD

I will get them both, eventually

DQVIII was actually a REALLY good game. Took me a second to become used to it as it was my first DQ game. =p.

It was really good. Colors kept me interested and whatnot. Story line was nice. Kept me very intrigued.

I'm just pissed that Squeenix is making Level 5 keep them on DS. I'd like DQ IX on my PS2, y'know? Damn Squeenix. >.<

Are they still developing new games for PS2?

Anyways, it's good to finally hear a release date for DQIX, even though it's still not a specific date...March 2009 (for Japan at least)...

Persona 4 is coming out for PS2 this December. PS2 game production isn't dead yet. Probably because most people wouldn't bother getting a PS3 until things like prices and game library shortage are resolved.
