When Rydia is still a child the party don't really care about her and she stays with the party for not a long time really.

But after the Feymarch visit and she's all grown up, Cecil keeps her in the party and suddenly she know has an opinion to the male characters unlike when she was a kid.

So what i'm saying is the party pays more attention to Rydia when she's like 18 (Especially Edge) and listen to her. Does ANYONE understand what i mean.

I hadn't ever thought about this, though I suppose the answer can reveal itself when you take into account that she was a child. That said, I've not played this game in a very long time, so the details of Rydia are hazy for me.

Her having an opinion and generally being noticed more by the party would probably be due to her new status as an adult, and having things to say after growing up with the summons and likely seeing many things. As a child she wouldn't have had as much to say, and may have been shy. I can't recall how she acted as a child as I have not played that portion of the game for what must be almost 10 years :-)gonk:!), though I imagine this to be the case.

Adults often like to keep their own little adult-only groups to discuss adult things (from how to find a certain street on a map, to saving the world) while children are encouraged to play with the butterflies and pull faces at one another. I suspect that Rydia the child was not consulted on the serious issues, but Rydia the adult would have a welcome and respected opinion, especially after having been tutored by the summons.

It was probably that she had more to say when she returned as an adult, then. Spending years being tutored by magical beings (and learning much about the universe and Golbez and co) likely improved her CV considerably when it came to rejoining the party.

Perhaps also Cecil was a bit too guilty about what he did to her when they first met, and so didn't feel as comfortable including her as a child. When they met again (when Rydia was an adult), Cecil had already fought off his dark side at Mt. Ordeals. This probably cleansed him of a lot of his guilt (again, it has been a long time since I've played).

It's hardly surprising that a 7 year old that was in shock over the death of her mother didn't have much to say concerning Baron's politics, especially to Cecil who is most directly responsible for her mother's death. I really disagree that the party 'didn't care about her' though, Cecil's first direct act of defiance against Baron was to protect her from the soldiers in Kaipo. Without her they wouldn't have got through Mt. Hobs either, so her presence was definitely valued. And let's not forget it was her who prompted Edward to do something with himself after the attack on Damcyan. The fact she didn't direct the group's course of action is down to her being a scared and somewhat quiet kid, not that the party don't value her input.

Once her time in the Feymarch is over, she has matured, become a lot more confident, and most crucially, has knowledge of the real danger behind Golbez's actions because of what Asura told her, which gives her reason to dismiss any doubts that she had of Cecil & co. Not only does this make her a lot more outspoken than she had been before, but perhaps the party are more keen to get her opinion based on the fact she has considerably more insight into events than she did when she was just a scared kid.

It was too dangerous for her in Fabul castle as well, where he did not let her go fight Baron with him, Yang and Edward. Cecil clearly cared for her safety enough then, and at other times he chose for her to travel with them because he didn't want to abandon her, and since Baron was searching for her, she was actually much safer with him at times like that. I don't think that his concern for her safety really changed too much pre or post-Feymarch; if anything he led her into more danger once she was older, such as the Tower/Giant of Babil, the Sealed Cave, and so forth, which can be explained by her increased proficiency in summoning and black magic.

Cecil does care for Rydia (Child), he defended her from the Baron Soldiers in the inn. And Cecil probably kept Rydia (Child) with him cause of the guilt he had of killing her parents and the fact that she has no where else to go. Cecil, after the battle with the Shadow Dragon, cared for Rydia (Adult) as a lady, not as a child. Rydia was already independent and could stand on her own. She could also realize the problem Cecil was facing.
