I was watching 8 out of 10 Cats on telly the other night and they touched on an issue I wanted to bring to the forum. They were speaking about the Government's plans to put pictures of destroyed livers on bottles and cans of alcohol.

I'm pretty against such an action, to be honest. If I'm on a night out (my age is irrelevant btw
) then the last thing I want to see is a vile picture of a decayed, internal organ on an otherwise enjoyable drink. In fairness, as well, if they want to highlight the dangers of alcohol consumption, wouldn't it be just as effective to put pictures of burned bodies on ovens/chip pans, pictures of destroyed aircrafts on every plane journey or a drowned body in every swimming pool?
They want to tackle issues --fair enough-- but I think they're going about it the wrong way - and this includes raising the age of off-licence sales of alcohol to 21.
