Another way

running through the slums of sector 7 towards the sound of the commotion Josh was stuck at the back of the crowd, "screw this" he said to noone in particular as the noise of the fight and the banter of the combatants was too loud to be heard over anyway, tacking a few steps backwards he looked around for a good vantage point and saw it almost imediatly, sliding round the side of the crowd towards a nearby bar

finaly getting there through the crowd josh muttered "that took some time" he then looked up at the bar and planned his route up the wall, it didnt look that hard to him, he had amazing agility and the outside of the building was by no means pefect. jumping towards the first crack in the wall he started scaling the building to a balcony on the first floor.

ariving on the balcony Josh looked down to see who was fighting, the first person was unmistakably reno, the new leader of the turks, but whoever he was fighting was an unknown element. "looks like this could be interesting" Josh said to himself as reno said "hah, I underestimated you kid" "okay" josh corrected himself "very interesting"
 
Stephen clenched his fists as he took note of the electro rod ~oh crap~ ran through his head, Stephen was aware that Elemental attacks were the route to beating him with great ease, Especially thunder, man did Stephen hate Electricity.

Reno charged towards Stephen and swung downwards with his Electro rod, Stephen crossed his arms above his head to block the attack but the Elecrto charge still ran through his body causing him to drop to his knee's as Reno pulled away smiling. Stephen placed his right hand on the floor to hold himself up "oh man, your good" Stephen managed to mutter in his shocked state Reno took a couple of steps away from Stephen as he spun his rod around "Hey kid, I'm giving you one last chance to join us" Stephen smiled as Reno said this "well then, I guess it's time for you to put an end to me, or at least hospitalize me for humiliating the Turks" Stephen announced with a smile as a red glisten struck his left hand. "If it's your wish" Reno announced before noticing the Glisten "what are you doing?" he asked as he spun his rod around in his hand.

Stephen extended his hand in the direction of reno "IFRIT, HELLFIRE!!!" Stephen announced Causing the crowd to Gasp and jump back a few meters. before a creater opened up in the ground and a Giant Greenish Yellow Flaming Horned Demon appeared out of the Ground, and threw it'self at reno, knocking him across the Slums and into the wall of a nearby hut. after the deamon had vanished Stephen Slowly got to his Feet and smiled as he pulled off his Gloves.

"Don't underestimate me again" he announced as he stumbled towards 7th Heaven still feeling the effects of the Electro rod Strike.
 
looking on from the balcony, Josh had to admit the unknon fighter had a good use of his materia, but had to wonder to himsef "where in hellfires name did he get ifrit" hopping down from the balcony as the crowed dispersed he preceded the fighter into the bar and sat down in a booth.

Stephen stumbled through the door and over to the bar "what the hell happened to you?" Asked Tifa from across the bar "electro rod to the arms" replied Stephen with a slight smirk on his face "E..l..ectro...rod? Thats Shinra Technology" Stephen slight smirk turned into a large grin "well it was a Turk who hit me with it" Tifa's face became more concerened than it already was "what do you mean a Turk"

Stephen sat at the bar and pointed at the tap "a drink please, and Reno got pissed off after i declined his offer to work with him" Tifa filled a pint glass and handed it to Stephen "here, and why did he challenge you" Stephen took a drink and placed his left hand on the back of his heaad "well, i kinda did ask for it" Tifa shook her head "typical" she announced "Don't worry, Ifrit dealt with him" Stephen informed her before taking another mouthful of water.
 
walking over to the bar Josh sat next to stephen "good fight back there" he said politly, "can i buy ya a drink?, and is there somewhere a little more private we could talk?" Josh asked
 
Stephen smiled at the guy who came over and offered him a drink, "nah, i don't need a drink" stephen announced as he stood up "and if you wanna talk, we can do it here, we are in a pub" Stephen looked at the man "It doesn't really matter in here, nobody listens to other people in a pub" Stephen then stood up "But if you prefer we can step outside" Stephen then extended his hand towards the door, "lets go"
 
Josh nodded in agreement to what Stephen had said as he stood up and strode towards the door, as he was closing in on the door he paused momentarily and turned to face the guy still stood at the Bar "I'm josh by the way, who might you be?" he asked politely
 
Even though she was hiding in the bushlands, she knew enough of who Sephiroth is. He was, however, not her main concern. Hojo was. Excellent. Then do you know where i can find him? Truth is... i can't remember much from the past and your father seems to be the only link i found at the lab before it went up in flames. For the first time, Evangeline felt like she was getting somewhere. The name actually led to something but she did not know what. In the end, she weas closer nonetheless.
 
Stephen followed the boy across 7th Heaven and then smiled as he stopped and introduced himself "Yea, I'm Stephen" he announced as he walked through the door and shouted "Back soon tifa"

once outside Stephen pulled out a packet of chewing gum and threw a bit in his mouth and began chewing. he turned to face josh "So what did you wanna talk about?"
 
Nimbus shook his head and said.

"i am sorry but i have no idea where he is the last time i saw him he said he was going to help my brother gain power to use meteor and i need to find my brother before that happens"nimbus said
 
Looking at stephen Josh found himself grinning "that was an interesting ending to your fight" he said, "just one question, where the hell did you get ifrit. I'm a fire specialist, well in my own eyes atleast, and i've never got close to finding the materia, but i gotta say you use it well."
 
Stephen smiled as Josh questioned him about his Materia "well" he muttered as he held up his left hand which was glistening red slightly. "i found it a few months ago" stephen informed Josh as a Red glowing glass like orb appeared in his hand. "It's not that specialk considerin i also have ramuh and Shiva. You see, I'm a bit of a self proclaimed summoner" the red orb then returned into the palm of Stephen's hand. "anything else you wanna know?"
 
Josh looked carefully at Stephen and said "Nope, just wanted to know where ya got it was all, but... there is one other thing" he paused unsure of how to say what was on his mind "what d'ya think of a sparing match against me?"
 
Stephen smirked as Josh offered him a training match "you really think you have what it takes to go head to head with the slumbs best Summoner?" Stephen announced arogantly "well, so be it" he announced as he clenched his fists, spun and charged at Josh. as he got into the right range Stephen unleashed a right handed punch aimed at Josh's Left shoulder. During training fights Stephen never aimed for the face, he wouldn't want to permenantly damage anything.
 
Ah... that is too bad... Evangeline turned back to her drink, taking another sip before looking up into the pub roof. It really is... At least you know your family... It was unlike her to be so melancholic, but it didn't matter.
The little hope she had of her past was dashed as fast as it rose. Why is it that the world seem to be against you, when you have done nothing...? she began, asking more herself then Nimbus. It would have been okay, if you actually know what had happened or what you've done, but what if you don't remember...? She had began reminiscing about her enounter with the ShinRa guards that she had encountered on her way to the city, where each and every one of them tried to hunt and kill her like an animal.
 
"I never really knew my mom because she died a few minutes after i was born and my father toke care of me after that lets just say he really didnt care for me because he just thought i was an experiment to him nothing else."Nimbus said looking at Evangeline.
 
OOC: Discussed this with Kakarot and he has allowed me totake control of his character in his absence of posting.

BIC: As Stephen's punch headed for Josh's arm, he dodeged and retaliated by hitting Stephen in the Stomach with the hilt of his Hip mounted Dagger, Causing Stephen to Stumble back with a smirk on his face "well played josh" Stephen announced as he stood up straight "thank you" replied josh. Josh slid the knife back into position and pulled his shortsword from his back "so, how is your defence?" he asked as he unleashed a vertically downward slash at Stephen who caught the blade between the Palms of his hands. The force of the slash forced stephen to drop to one knee.

Stephen managed to keep the blade above head hight although josh was still applying pressure downwards. Stephen was struggling, but out of nowhere he jumped off his right foot and kicked Josh in the stomach with both of his feet, knocking Josh far enough back to stop the attack from hitting him. Stephen recovered his composure just as fast as Josh did. "dude, we are pritty evenly matched" Stephen announced with a smile, Then he noticed the blade of Josh's shortsword emmiting a sort of Green glow. ~WTF!!~ stephen though to himself as Josh pointed the blade of his sword at Stephen "Bolt" josh announced before a bolt of electricity Struck Stephen from above, knocking him to the floor.

Stephen hit the floor hard, and began slowly picking himself up "wow, that was powerful" he announced as he glanced up at Josh who slid his sword into it's sheath "yea, i know" he replied as he walked over to Stephen and extended his hand "How about we go for a drink in 7th Heaven" Josh mentioned, Stephen took his hand and stood up "Sounds like a good plan" Stephen replied as his hands began to glow Green.

Stephen was engulfed in green light as he muttered "Cure" and the couple of grazes over his body healed rapidly causing Stephen to smile, and spit out a sigh of pain relief. Stephen and Josh Entered 7th heaven and strode accross the room over to the Bar. "two pints of larger please Tifa" Stephen announced as Tifa smiled and nodded "Sure thing Stephen" she replied as she poured the pints and handed them to Stephen. Stephen paid her the 6 Gil and smirked at her. "thanks, Goreous"
 
Xanderr had stood ack in the shadows of the inn thinking. He Rushed out of the bar suddenly, accidently knocking over a person entering the pub. He apologised and left quickly getting on Ragnarok. He started it up and revved off into the streets of midgar. He headed up to the cliffs on the outskirts of town. it was a wonderful view from up there but he wasnt alone enjoying it for long.

A chopper came round and landed nearby to him. Xander drew the buster sword and sat side-saddle on the bike. As a few people got off the helicopter he said. "I know what you want and im not interested". A Bald man stood foremost of the group, adjusting his gloves. "Im afraid you have no choice but to listen" Rude said. "Youve got ten minutes" Xander said. "I Need five" Rude replied adding "A Dangerous experiment has escaped from hojos lab..." "and i should care why?" Xander cut in. "Because its headed for your neck of the slums. we arent sure where so we need you to help us track it down." rude finished "And you expect me to just drop everything and help out..." Xander began before rude interjected "No i just thought youd want to protect your family and friends" without another word he turned and the group got back on the chopper. They headed down into the slums as Xander turned his bike back on and headed ack to seventh heaven He walked in and said "The Exiles have to fly"

((ooc: all exile members (thats most the good guys) should answer with a shout of 'spread your wings' cliched i know but its basically for people to join the exiles))
 
As sXander strode through the door and shouted 'The Exiles have to Fly" Stephen Spun around and gritted his teeth Tifa on the other hand shouted 'spread your wings' Stephen looked over at Tifa "If she is going I'm coming to" Stephen announced as he looked at Xander "Stephen someone has to look after 7th Heaven" Tifa told him as she grabbed a pair of leather gloves and walked over to Stephen, stood by Xander. Stephen looked at her and then back at the people in the bar "7th Heaven is closing early" Stephen shouted making the patrons winge, "Just get out" Stephen announced, causing them to begin fileing out one at a time. Stephen turned to tifa "Sorted" he muttered with a smile.
 
Nimbus smirked and got up and started to walk out of the bar.

"i am sorry to be of no help to you i must be off"Nimbus said to the girl and walked out of the bar and got on his bike and rode off in the speed of light he knew where he was headed and he knew that if the turks havent found out that he had left the lab then he would be fine.
