Kenshin gaped in shock side by side with Gourry at the apparition. Attack after attack had landed on the creature, but to no avail.

'Wait,' he thought, 'that's not entirely true. The only attack that didn't land,' turning to look at Gourry, 'was that light attack.'

"Gourry! Get closer and try that again! This one will draw its attention with the others!"

Kenshin ran at the creature, pushing the sakabato slightly from its sheath with his thumb. Jumping onto an extended appendage of darkness, he ran to where he presumed the (now smoking, thanks to Roy) head to be and unleashed his Battojutsu. No effect.

"And hurry, please!"
 
Gourry snapped out of it, back to his old 'smart' self.

He ran closer, as it was busy with the red head. He unleashed another energy wave.
This time it hit dead on.
it seemed to cause severe pain, most likely due to the fact that the sword is the exact opposite of the being.

Gourry grinned. "My sword of light works." Confidence have been many warriors fall, but Gourry, was no different..

He had gotten too close, and was given a bitch slap from hell, he ended up in a nearby wall.

"Heh" he laughed as he climbed out of the wall. "That is nothing compared to Lina, or Fillia"

Due to his insanely smart brain, he have often done not too smart things
and been one the wrong side of a fireball, or a mace that is as heavy as a small cart.
This have made him build up a great resistance to more or less any damage.


Gourry once again made his sword ready. He might be an idiot, but he is an excellent sword master.

He was now looking for an opening.
 
Ed saw the large shadowy creature and then looked at the sword on his arm "I'm gonna need something a bit bigger" he though to himself he took the sword back into his arm and clapped his hands and pressed them on the floor, a large spike of earth flew from the ground in front of the creature and stabbed it in the chest.
"hahaha, you think that can harm me" the creature announced as it snapped the spike and the hole in its chest healed. Ed then clapped his hands again and placed his right hand on the floor, He pulled a spear out of the floor and threw it at the creature "how about this" he shouted at it but the monster slapped the spear aside like it was a fly
 
The shockwave from Gourry's attack sent Kenshin flying from the monster. In the air, he watched as the short blonde kid used some kind of energy to form weapons from the ground. That gave him an idea.

"Young one!" he shouted to the ponytailed blonde after a rather rough landing, "can your magic be used for defense as well as offense? If that is the case, get over to Gourry and provide him with defensive support!"

Kenshin stood, took a step toward the monster, and experienced a sharp pain in his right leg. Ignoring the discomfort, Kenshin resumed his role as distraction, leaping once again into the fray, though this time with a slight limp.
 
Seras ran out and shouldered the Harkonnen.

"Everyone get out of the way unless you want to die!"

She aimed...if anyone got in the way of the Harkonnen's blast, they'd be dead faster than they could scream.

"Time to blow you to bits..."

The Harkonnen went off with a huge blast, launching the gigantic bullets at the thing they were fighting, and creating a rather enormous explosion...now...for the smoke to clear...
 
OOC: Fine, since no one is liking my idea, then I will scrap it, just don't refer back to that post, pretend it never happened....

*Ichigo jumped into the smoke to make a surprise attack on the shadowish figure but to no avail; instead the figure grabed Ichigo and punched his stomach three times, and then the figure threw Ichigo 30 feet....*

That... Hurt.... Ugh...

*After Ichigo said that, he fell over from exhaustion......*

(This is not a long term fatigue, it will be over in a few posts....)
 
"Seres...." Annoyed by the non stopping arguing, Alucard decided to keep silence until peace were restored.Fortunately, all was settled and they were now all willing to cooperate for a common cause: getting out of this mess. Then it just happened, the puppeteer and orchestrator of this nightmare exposed himself, Alucard wasn't surprised knowing that insane lords tend to be so full of themselves, most of it being idiocy.

Alucard just remained enjoying the show while the others seemed to be putting much effort on killing the beast that had just arrived. Having heard the mysterious voice before, Alucard thought that it had to be someone who excelled in necromancy and time shifting, perhaps a warlock or some sort of wizard or a sorceress. The vampire smiled, not moving a muscle to stop the beast, letting others do the job this time.

Minutes passed, and the beast was still alive which bothered Alucard somehow. Wishing to contribute to end this battle, Alucard walked towards the door and exited the building, entering the battlefield. Alucard then placed his hands before his face, making his hands besides each other, the palm of his left hand facing to the front and the palm of the right hand facing Alucard. His eyes were looking through his fingers, as the dark magic he commanded was set in motion. "Enternity is wasted upon the likes of you. Try as you might, but immortality slips away. ..." Alucard said referring to the creator of the beast, while preparing his enchantment.

"Vile bastards starting all this bloodshed...for what they all seem to seek is to wage war, and endless desperate, blood-stained, struggles. Things quite close to crying loudly. I don't think they desire those things at all. On the contrary: all of this is their way of shouting and begging for death." The clouds began to cover the sky hiding the sunlight, blackness was taking over the scenario. "First step of black magic, don't take your eyes from your enemy while you concentrate your intentions on it.....Second step, analyze the enemies weaknesses and use them as your advantage...I can't believe I am losing my time with this maggot..."Alucard kept talking to himself as the border surrounding the irises of his eyes, resembling a bloody ring around it. His eyes widened, a malicious grin showing his vampiric fangs could be seen on his face. The shadows around Alucard merged with him, enshrouding it in blackness and limiting the visibility around him for others, yet not for him. No one could foretell what was about to happen....

IC:

Seras saw her master come out and watch for a while, before joining in the fight. But he was doing that thing again...

"Master...you..."

She stopped. Interrupting him when he was really into a fight would probably be a stupid idea. ~Master....~
She once again returned her attention to the one they were all attacking. Ichigo had fallen exhausted, so she ran forward,putting the Harkonnen on one shoulder and supporting him with the other, dragging him out of the battle area. Seras set him off to the side.

"You'll be alright, just stay here and rest"
 
As Kenshin avoided the creature's claw by mere inches, he heard a dark voice coming from behind. He whipped around to see Alucard grinning and muttering some unknown incantation. Suddenly, the shadows around him enveloped him in darkness.

"Wait, Alucard!" Kenshin yelled, trying to stay focused on the enemy and his comrade at the same time. "Should not light dispell the dark? This one does not believe that-"

He was cut off by a blow to the chest that sent him flying toward Seras and Ichigo. He landed about a yard behind them and tried to get back to his feet, but found himself unable to move.

"Th-this one is sorry to impose," he said weakly, lying on his back with his face turned to Seras, "but could you lend this one your shoulder? This one would like to observe the battle from a shorter distance."
 
Seras saw Kenshin come flying and land. It seemed as if he could not move. He asked her to help him up and support him.

"Sure, here..."

She hooked an arm around him and lifted him up off the ground. But she still kept the Harkonnen shouldered on the opposite shoulder.

"If I have to fire, you'll have to sit..."

Gourry was awaiting his opening, instead the lady with the huge weapon seemed to do something.

An explosion was made at her location, resulting in one one the beast.
Needless to say, there where a lot of forces around. And some debree where being thrown around.

Gourry planned to use this time to attack, when he hear th e red head shout out something towards the cake shop.

As he looked, the shady one with the read coat, did something, the sin was hidden away from
the sky.
And something really bad was going to happen.

the read head mentioned that Light should take away darkness. Probably referring to his sword, he knew that much at least.

But Gourry was not the one to find out what would happen. He withdrew, rand over to to the now landed read head, and the lady with big br-.

Seriously, I was away for a day and a bit... ah well

IC:

Zoro had been sleeping while all the discussions had been going on, and he was still leaning against the bakery wall, just asleep.
However, when the Harkonnen went off, he woke up, and he woke up annoyed.
"OK," he yelled getting up from the aftershocks, "what the he-"
He cut off as he saw the black figure. And how ineffective most, if not all the current attacks had been.
"Damn it," he muttered as he unsheathed one of his blades, Wadou, and walked up to the area of the fight, "I can't hit it if it doesn't have a body..."
Looking around for something to help, he noticed up on one of the rooftops, a man in a tall dark cape, watching the fight, and seemingly laughing.
"You wont be laughing after this..." he muttered, sneaking around behind the building he was standing on and, luckily enough, found a ladder propped up against it.
"Probably how the bastard got up here," Zoro thought, climbing up the ladder and getting onto the roof, just as the man turned around.
"You," Zoro said, unsheathing his swords and putting one in his mouth, "wont get away with... whatever you've done!"
"Really?" The figure asked in a voice that even sounded dark, "And how will one such as you stop me?" And he drew a long, blood-stained Katana.
"I, am Roronoa Zoro," Zoro said around Wadou, crouching into an attack position, "and i will defeat any who call themselves a swordsman!"
And he launched forward.
"ONI GIRI!" He cried, his swords, which were crossed in front of him, came blurring out at the man, flashing in the light.
 
Kenshin winced slightly as Seras lifted him, but he put the pain from his mind. "Thank you," he managed between labored breaths. He then saw Gourry running to their location.

"Gourry..." he said, still breathing heavily, "Alucard seems a smart individual, but this one can't see anything good coming from this. This one has never before so desired to be proven wrong, but we must prepare in case this one is right. When Alucard finishes, be ready to strike"

"This one has strength enough to stand now," he said, disattatching himself and turning to Seras. "This one would advise conserving ammunition. Let us wait and see if Alucard was the wiser of the two of us. Such is this one's hope."
 
Ed clapped his hands and called forth another spear throwing it at the creature he then clapped again and launched a spike from behind the creature, but the creature blocked the spear and dodged the spike, Ed noticed many of the locals had ran for their lives but the group of people himself and fuhrer mustang had met in the Bakery were staying and fighting the giant shadow creature
 
"Now people, once I hit the beast, unleash hell and attack it with everything!" Alucard fueled his enchantment with the darkness he gathered from within the hearts around him, human and beast alike. "In the name of God, impure souls of the living dead shall be damned into eternal damnation..." Alucard's eyes fueled with blood and adrenaline, he smiled devilishly showing his threatening vampire teeth, indeed he was about to start the first step to unleash hell. From underneath his coat, shadowy like limbs crawled towards the beast, the source of the darkness being Alucard himself. Talons, jaws, evil red eyes, snakes, all born out of pure darkness slowly approaching the beast from the sides, above and from the ground. The beast struggled to break from the hold, and succeeded, fleeing but finding no exit from this nightmare. Alucard could sense the fear sunk deep within the beast's heart, even if the beast was summoned from the deepest part of the abyss. The vampire burst in laughter satisfied by the cruelness of his enchantment. "Oh come on...I haven't even started to warm up yet...." From within the shadows one could see his left arm sprouting, handgun in hand, clearly aiming to the beast. He shot his gun repeatedly, unloading numerous rounds as he screamed "Come on....come on! COME ON!!!!"

Noticing that it was more than enough, Alucard withdrew his minions and took up his original form. The clouds darkening the skies faded away, and light shined once more. Alucard was disappointed, he expected more from this beast. The beast, having its will shattered by fear, was now vulnerable for death. "Now....grant the beast its wish....death...."
 
Gourry remembering that his sword seemed rather effective against it.
Or did he imagine it?

Regardless, his sword SHOULD damage it.
Gourry walked over towards it, and drew his sword.
even mere mortals such as Gourry himself could feel the fear coming from the creature, It knew it would die. And could do nothing against it.

As Gourry stood there, His sword shining brightly. "Do not worry, you should feel no pain" he stated, as he lifted the handle of the sword, pointing the blade downwards.

A quick thrust later, and the beast was dead.
Gourry sheathed his 'handle' and was slightly confused.

His suspicion that the man in red clothes, was a monster, increased after this.
 
Kenshin sighed in relief as the beast breathed its last. It seemed Alucard indeed knew what he was doing, though Kenshin was still uneasy about his mode of attack. Perhaps he wasn't... bad... but he was certainly dark. Kenshin sheathed his sakabato, took two steps, and fell flat on his face, a weak 'oro' sounding from the dirt.

"It would appear this one is still a bit weak," he said, looking up from his prostrated position and chuckling weakly.

"If someone would be so kind as to help this one to a bed..."
 
Alucard noticed that Gurry's distrust towards his vampiric powers grew even more. As if he could read what he thought, or perhaps foretell it based on what has happened, Alucard stepped forward and walked until he found himself side to side with Gourry. "You don't need to fear me...I assure you that. Your power is great, let it shine as a guiding light for all of us to see...." Alucard grinned as he slightly pushed his glasses against the center of his eyes. He then turned his sight to Gourry, smirked and then turned away from him, leaving Gourry behind as he walked towards the carcass of the beast. Alucard knelt next to the beast, stretched his right arm and opened his hand, landing the palm of his hand on the beast's corpse. Suddenly, some sort of shadow came out of the beast and entered his hand, the essence of the beast was thus absorbed by Alucard. Alucard then rose standing tall, and he stared to the sun that was just about to set on the horizon.
 
Edward was staring in shock at what Alucard had just done "how can he be that powerful, what is he?" Ed began walking backwards away from the Vampire still with a shocked look on his face "not even Lust, Envy or any of the other homunculi were that strong" Ed looked around for an Inn he could spend the night in.
 
What Alucard stated left Gourry insanely Confused.

"You don't need to fear me...I assure you that. Your power is great, let it shine as a guiding light for all of us to see...."
He repeated the sentence a few times, but found no meaning.
