Am i the only one

Let's try to avoid one liners please guys, put a little more thought in your posts Taaaa ^^;

I LOVE IT!

As I'm going through the game's main story, you can always tell when you're going to run into something that will be optional later on, but you will spend hours upon hours trying to complete it.

Monster Arena; Mark Hunts; Blitzball tournaments and leveling up Celestial Weapons; WEAPON battles; Esper fights...

I can't wait until the first possible point in games that allow you to venture out and attempt to complete some of these quite interesting side-quests.

I love side quests

I try and do side quests but with FF7CC I beat the game then realized I missed a bunch then played again getting 100%. FF12 is the hardest cause there are like hundreds of side quests. FF7 I can do all the side quests in like a day so I do them more then th rest. Agreed Chocobo breeding is the longest, but if your out doing other quests while you wait for new borns to be able to breed it dosen't take as long as waiting on the map coming back and forth to the stables to see if you can breed them.

lately the games have been so hard you need a walkthrough. Some times the game is too unpredictable and difficult.

well when i play i only play to do the storie line but when i get addicted to it and i have beaten it and i got nuthin else to do ill just try to beat the optinal bosses like with ffx im now up to penence o_O

I rarely take on the optional bosses, normally I just play the main storyline and forget about the game for awhile. I try every now and then though, I beat all the optional bosses bar one in FFVIII =D

I tried facing the Dark Aeons in FFX, but when I realised that I'd have to be pathetically strong to even stand a chance, I decided to forget about them. I didn't really fancy spending around 1000 hours training >_>

Usually depends on the game. In Final Fantasy Tactics, i chose to do the side quest and side bosses because i loved the story and i wanted to know everything about it. In other games, if the side quest or boss gives off a good reward, i'll usually do it just to get the nice item for later in the game.

In Final Fantasy X, i tried to do Monster Arena, but it ended up being to difficult to do. So in situations like this, i usually give up if it isn't that important to the story line ^^
