Allow me to share my displeasure...

Story goes... I finally found Marilith. I get it to critical HP... (yay for blinking red) and then... <bleep> It kills me.

All 6... I couldn't... heal... fast enough... wasn't able to save them... they all just... disappeared.

Does anybody have secrets to destroy this beast of beasts? What was your average level before attempting it?

Can't remember what level, but I put it to sleep before blasting it with spells until roasted

I can't remember my level but I managed with most of the support spells active (protect, shell, haste etc) and then hacked away with the Zodiac spear and two save the queen's.I also kept the curaga/ja's coming as my health went below 1,000.

But every spell I remember trying to use on it either said IMMUNE or it gave it back health. What spells did you use?

All I did was cast blind and slow on it. Then I spammed it with physical attacks until it died. I can't remember what level I was on either.. I suggest being at least level 40 though before you attempt it again.

I think I was around level 35, I'm not too sure though. I would have cast Bio on it and then kept bashing it with swords, you don't even need bravery and faith to beat Marilith.
When you get an enemy to critical HP you have to watch your own health and be ready to cast Cura/Curaga. Because you might, like me, have your gambits set to attack enemy with critical HP before healing.
Though next time you close to beating it, just switch party members and spam some quickenings on it, that should finifh it off.
