Age for sex?

My feelings on the issue are simple. Once you feel ready, you are ready. I think that all of the talk about sex, and the restrictions on it, are part of the reason that there is such a rush to have it. Just like alcohol, tobacco, and drugs, sex is one more thing that falls under the love of taboo over actual love of the action.

Sex, like love, isn't something you can force, in my opinion. You just have to let it happen. Also, as a side note, I don't think that sex and love always have to coincide. In other words, I don't think love is necessary for sex. Sex is fun, and can be fun with anyone you like spending time with (sex based on looks alone is out of the question, for me at least). I do think, however, that the first time you have sex, it's better if you do it out of a feeling of love. That way, you have less to regret if you turn out to be someone who feels that sex is something that should always go with love. Though, regret is something I personally don't believe in having, but that's another topic all together.

Well, I've never had sex before, but I know I want to wait until I marry somebody I really care for. I could be age 19, I could be age 40, I don't know, I don't care. I just want to wait 'cause I think it means more if your willing to wait and keep yourself from pleasure for the person you love.

As for age, I think it should be after around age 15, but it just depends on things like where you live, what your community is like, and how mature you are. If it's all hormones, then it could just end up with a young mommie and daddy who aren't ready, or some sort of regret. I think if your mature and have a job enough to support you if something happens, it's alright.

err... whatever you want dude...

you're kinda starting to annoy me...
I'm starting to get annoying, eh? Pffft, please. That was nothing. Show some respect to the site by following the rules and not flaming the people who help keep this site as spam-free as possible.

Enjoy the Prison; see you in a week.

Hmmm....
My boyfriend is almost 7 years older than me and we hooked up when I was still 16.

Those of you who say "it's wrong"; you're probably only saying that it's wrong because it's not the same way that you experienced it.
Just because you didn't have sex until you were x-years-old, that means it's wrong for others to do it until they're at least the same age that you were when you first did it?

I am waiting for when I get married, since I am expecting it to be a very connecting and intimate experience. Age does not really matter, as long as the romance is there.

I am a romantic, one who loves and enjoys the chivalrous and inner drives. That means that sex is not just an act for me, but an expression. There is something inside me that says that I must wait until it is who I will be with for the rest of my life, almost like a calling.

Others can do as they wish, but just be sure to take all the risks to mind.

That's what they say, but we both lied about our ages. LOL.
I told him I was 18 and he told me he was 19. XD

Edit: not 19...I mean 21. lol.

I don't call it wrong. I call that horribly pathetic on his part. HAHAHA

Agreed, sorry Rhea. :p

Anyways, 16 up in my opinion AS LONG AS THEY KNOW ABOUT M"FUC*ING PROTECTION...Gawd, I hate hearing about all this teen pregnancy's and shit by dumb girls and guys who couldn't wrap the tool.

^ All said, I believe. :P

I think it'd be more than just some fling for me, but I've seen ALOT of people who don't think at all like that, especially in my area. >_<

Lmfao. I love threads like these.

Okay, let's put this into perspective. Age 18 and up = Pornography, yes? Kids still look at it anyways. xD. That sums up the mentality of sex nowadays.

So, with the basis of that, it seems our society is drifting down to make everything sex or sexually oriented. With more and more TV commercials and shows featuring sex it seems that any kid would want to try it at an early age. So, it's basically, have sex or be made fun of! My views are a tad different on the subject, though. If kids know about it, then sure they can experience it. It's up to them if they want to become mindless sex addicted freaks when they grow up. Sure, our society would dwindle down to "Me want woman. Me need fun", but hey! At least we know how to accomplish our sexual needs!

Seriously, people need to hold off. It's tempting, yes. Still, most fun things are restricted to an older age. It's just something that people see and are like, "AH! I have to try that!" in simplest terms.

18+, please.

I once saw a guy on T.V. who was like thirty-something years old, and he was still a virgin, and you know what? That was the coolest guy I'd ever seen, a true role model for basement-dwelling super-geeks like me.

EDIT: What the hell was I talking about in this post? Was I sleepy or something?

?

For serial?

But for those of you who save it for marriage, I just want you to know that on your wedding night, you're going to give it to your partner and they're going to be sorely dissapointed that you don't know what you're doing.

Meh, don't make fun of those people. I have a lot of respect for them. I think they're wasting it but that's pretty offensive for the people who are decent enough to keep their legs closed until they've found the right one.

What's that supposed to meannnnn?

Not that I'm mad or anything, i mean I never said I wasn't a virgin.

Oh God no.. don't misunderstand. I just meant that at some point our animalistic needs got the better of us. No person ever starts out in life wanting sex. At some point that desire grew into more than just a basic interest... you might have fallen in love and it became something you both wanted... but it was not a neccessity... it was instinctual. And for those people who can resist those urges... it really impresses me, even if I don't really agree. In fact, I think most people make the mistake of marrying their first "lay", by choice or sometimes not. But I think that IS a big mistake.

I don't get why someone would resist doing something that's only human in nature. If you weren't meant to feel that way, then why do you?
