Aeris And Yuna

These people are so similar in my opinion as they both heal and are both bad fighters lol does anyone agree and the leader of square announced that spira and midgar where the most ff games to be Connected in a way

Aerith and Yuna are not bad fighters - make them use MAGIC (yes magic!) and they can take off just as much - if not more damage then Cloud and auron respectively. Plus Aerith has great gospel and yuna has aeons - INSTA-WIN!

At first i thought this topic would be about how similar they look alike - maybe even refering to this image :

Guess i was wrong :lol: but someone put Aeriths hair on yuna before AC came out and for the longest time people thought that, that was what Aerith would look like O_O
 
that pic is odd i thought it was aerith at first.lol
i suppose they are kinda similar theyr both leading females who are good at magic and what not, also they both save the world
 
well yeah they are both similar in looks too now i didnt mean to offend lol but they may not be the best fighters but i still like them as characters :D so if i offended then soz lol
 
That picture of Aeris scares me AG.

I don't think they are that much alike. Yuna is pretty much a white mage and Aeris is more of an all around magic user.

And their personalities aren't really that simiular either. Yuna is much more shy while Aeris was pretty out going.

The only thing that I really similur about them is that they are self sacrificial. But then, many Final Fantasy characters are.
 
Well they basically use the same type of weapon....
but there really not much else.

And yeah, their personalities were opposites of each other.

And besides Yuna has ...heterochromatic irises... while Aeries does not.

While they both have some similar abilities, I can't say I see anything else about them being similar. One of the biggest reasons as stated above are their opposite personalities.
 
Well Aeris is the worst striker in the game...while Yuna is the second worst striker in the game if you don´t complete the sphere grid!

Aeris really as nothing special about her...while Yuna does indeed have the Aeons!

Also Yuna seems kind of shy in FFX and doesn´t talk much...

While Aeris is pretty much the opposite she doesn´t know when to shut up and since the begining she tries to flirt with Cloud!

yuna does do the silent flirting with tidus ...
you know from the start of the game they are going to have it off !

But truthfully, Yuna is not just a White Mage. She actually surpasses Lulu bu a long shot when you put her through Lulu's Path.

So, let me ask. Could Yuna be a resurrection of Aeris? Maybe she learned to keep her mouth shut this time around?

Well you know the only thing that i actually can relate to both Aeris and Yuna is the fact that they both are willing to sacrifice themselfes to safe or help others...other than that i don´t see a similarity.

So no i don´t think Yuna is a Aeris persona resurrection...
 
I think Square Enix have used the same character but changed the hair styles and clothes because if you look carefully, Aerith has the same fringe as yuna, same eyes, same mouth, same nose. Only Aerith came first. Unless someone has got that picture of Yuna and edited it and made it as Aerith... I'm not saying you did because i've seen the pictures before.
 
they have the same fighting stles both use stafs and are both magic users so they are similar in ways
