Adel tips please

Thanks to all who gave me tips on how to beat Seifer, they worked!
So now, I'm at the beginning of disc 4 and I'm pretty sure I'll have to start the WHOLE game over again...unless someone could give me some great tips.
So here's the deal...my character's are level 58, 48, and 29 and I want to beat Adel. The problem is I've been relying on GF's through most of the game (I know, i'm an idiot), then I realized I can't use GF's without killing Rinoa, which I know, ends the game.
So yeah, if someone could give me some tips on how to go about beating Adel, it would be GREATLY appreciated.
Otherwise, I'm screwed.
 
Its hard to say as I don't know your equipment, Magics, Limit Breaks, etc...
But try using your Limit Breaks on it and casting Regen and Curaga on Ronoa, with a little luck and help of Renzokuken and other Limit Breaks you could beat it easilly. I hope this helps somehow :)

I didn't find the boss that hard... =/
 
And yeah, I REALLY don't want to start all the way over.
Especially because I spent so much time on the game.
I really want to finish!
And I'll probably start it again once I finished and become even stronger...and so on...
 
use your auras if you you still have them. But only use limit breaks that dont target everyone. (I think for squall if you dont pull the trigger you wont initiate the bonus.) Use Cerberus to cast double and triple on yourself. Cast Shell and protect on yourself. Cast regen on your party and Rinoa (Can be drawn from Rinoa)
 
Well Adel is Level 36, would you happen to know how much HP it would have?
Because whenever I scan, it just has ?????
Squall's HP is around 5000, Zell's is about 3000, and Irvine's is about 1500...if that helps at all
 
Adel is somewhere in the neighborhood of 6000-15000(in your case probally closer to 10-15000 thats a guess though.) oh and if you have meltdown cast that on Adel, it will help you out alot.
 
Adel has exactly 41000HP (lvl 36)
Rinoa: 8200 (around that)

This boss is really easy compared to the ones that are coming, and level up won't help too much as they also increase their stats.
 
If you don't have Odin, you have defeated Seifer which had between 25000 and 30000.
You can also steal an Elixir from Rinoa, if that helps at all.

If you keep Draw Regen and casting on Rinoa and Curaga, it would solve her problem.
now for you team, you can draw Firaga, Blizzaga and Thundaga. That will help if you don't have much powerful magic. You always see your items, or create stones (such as Ultima or Aura) by transforming items, Cards etc... into items.

If all Fails you can always go for the easiest way... waste your Heroes/GF cards into Broken Items such as Holy Wars, I don't recommend you to tought.

What I did was I went in with Squall on low HP, cast Regan on Rinoa and then used Squalls limit breaks on Adel (Luckily I got Lion Heart on the first go and so killed Adel straight away).
A dodgy plan but it worked :P

I used a defensive strategy to beat her, she was a pain, but once you develop a strategy, shes easy.

I junctioned best magic to HP. Then the second best magic to Squall's attack. Then i put Drain on everybody's Status Attack, and provided you have a reasonably strong Physical Attack, you can deal damage and heal yourself at the same time.

Other good ways to go about it is to rely on magic completley. Use Meltdown on Adel, and cast Regen on Rinoa because it helps HEAPS. Then use Aura on Zell and Irvine but just dont use their limit breaks that target both enemies, or else you'll kill Rinoa.

Otherwise, just use magics like Firaga, Holy, Flare etc, and beat her down slowly.

I can't really add anything that hasnt already been said, but casting regen on Rinoa will help no end, you can ven get away with attacks that will hurt her aswel so long as you remember to heal her regularily. Also, use scan to keep tabs on her health.

I think I just used physical attacks on Adel and did her that way, if you can juntion 100 magics to Str. If not, just use that strategy to keep Rinoa alive - and you will kill her eventually. I do rememeber having an absolute mare with Adel first time i played it. Just perservere - and try to survive the next few fights or you will have to do it all over again...unless it lts you save inbetween, I cant remember :wacky:
 
Thank's everyone, I'll remember that when I'm on the fourth disc...yeah, I started over.
But I think I'm glad I did, on the fourth disc I had 4 GF's and now on the 1st disc I already had 6...i'm at the beginning of disc 2, and Squall/Laguna (lvl 33) have 3,800
where as my sis is far in Disc 2, her Squall (lvl 39) has 2,600.
So I've just been junctioning ALOT better and have relied a lot less on my GF's...
so yeah, I think I'll be ready when it comes to Adel.
Also, I've noticed boss battle's are so much easier when you know how to junction, and use your weapons more
 
Yay, I started a new FF8 game and finally got Squall to lvl 100, the other's are lvls 48-60 or so...they have good HP and are pretty strong...I have good magic I think. But, I heard aura helps a lot. Does anyone know where to get aura? Cause I still haven't found it.

You can draw 100x3 Aura to everyone if you hadn't defeat Seifer...but i'm guessing you have. In that case you can find them on Island Closest to Hell and Island Closest to Heaven (World Map). http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/file/final_fantasy_viii_world.gif

Simply walk and press the action button until you found a "draw point" you'll find multiple Magics, including Ultima, Holy, Meteor, etc...
Or you can always refine them from items.
 
No, I haven't beaten Seifer yet...is that where you can draw aura?
I'm about to fight him though, Squall's lvl 100 w/9999 hp, Zell is lvl 65 w/about 6200 hp, & Rinoa is lvl 40 w/about 4200 hp, do you think I could beat Seifer and Adel with that much?
 
Hey, I saw this vid on youtube that when you use the command Kamikaze, it kills yourself but it also kills Adel...should I use that?
Sorry i'm asking so many questions, I just don't wanna make the same mistake i made last time
 
Yeah you can get 100x draw to all your 3 mains characters. :)
If you have Odin as a summon, simply focus on drawing Aura for your characters until you have enough.
Gilgamesh will take care of Seifer
.

And yes Selphie, your levels are very good, I don't think you'l have any difficulty on defeating both.

I never tried, but if it works, go for it.
