Activity Level Stat

Yes another question that is probably silly but I'm struggling to understand what's going on. >.<

I noticed that in my stats in the top right hand corner of the page it says: Activity Level: 14

But then when you go to the drop down menu above the shoutbox and it gives you the option to view the Highest vBActivity Level it shows my stats differently.

It says: Activity Level: 16

Does anyone know why that is?

I have always been wondering about this as well. I think it means that you are the most active in terms of "highest" activity. Whilst your activity level is just going up by stats. It takes longer to get your activity level up. Although, I remember I was posting one of these days, and I was the most active on the forum. I was all the way on top of the list of "highest" vb level. I still wonder about this though.

I think that thing doesn't actually measure your activity level, or the drop down thing doesn't.
It ranks it according to people who have the most VB points. However it doesn't include how many VB points you have in the bank. I think that is why there is a difference.
