I need some good recommendations for good action-like Animes. To name those that I've watched and enjoyed:

Bleach
Naruto
Nabari no Ou
X
Samurai Champloo
Claymore
Bakki: The Grappler

Anything? :\

You know what's better then those?

AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER!

If you really want an action anime/cartoon, then I suggest you watch that show. It's mindblowing-ly awesome!

Hajime no Ippo/Fighting Spirit's pretty good, especially if you're into boxing.

There's also:
Black Lagoon
Rurouni Kenshin
Tengen Toppa Gurran Lagann
Yuu Yuu Hakusho

Well, I'll say:

Black Lagoon - A lot of non-repetitive and refreshing action. One of my favorites.

Fullmetal Alchemist - While I won't call it "Action Packed", it still has great action and amazing characters & Story

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - Basically a mecha anime, but has crazy action (both with and without robots) and very random

That all I can think of at the moment as I don't like recommending anime I didn't like, and I am not the "action packed" type.

...Some one actually watched Nabari No Ou besides me? That's awesome.

Gunbuster/Diebuster. Not action "packed" persay, but the action in is is amazing enough to cover.
Berserk. I prefer the manga for action though.
Gantz, prefer the manga as well.

How could I forget Hajime no Ippo? It's definitely an anime full of action. Just check my sig.

If u want lots of action... Tenjou Tenge is for u , lots of martial arts involved

^ I actually enjoyed Tenjou Tenge. It's a bit odd--okay, really odd--but it was enjoyable to me. However, didn't the actual anime leave off somewhere? As far as I know, it didn't get picked back up, and they spun it a completely different direction from the manga to begin with, so it's a bit weird.

Anyway, I second one of the above poster's recommendation in Yu Yu Hakusho. That show had great fights, strong visuals, and to add icing to the cake, the plot and characters are all interesting to say the least. Watch it. I recently rewatched some of the eps not long ago and found it very enjoyable.

Gantz (the manga is significantly better than the anime, but the first few episodes are still really good. It's only 26 episodes long though.)

Rurouni Kenshin & Yu Yu Hakusho are both phenomenal.

Yeah Gantz has really good action, however the ending sucked really hard.

I also recommend:

-Black Lagoon: If you like chicks with guns, there you go
-Berserk: Much action in medieval setting. However the ending is a big cliffhanger
-Hellsing Ultimate: Much gore. Nice overall
-Gurren Lagann: Its Hypelevel is >9000. Nothing too intelligent but an entertaining "we can do it" Shonen Anime)
-Dragonball Z: Timeless classic

Cowboy Bebop. Not all the episodes are full of action it's really good and the action is stunning. The fight scenes are set to music, often jazz/blues/rock and it works very well. The music is probably what makes the series so great actually :)

I second that, Bebop is fantastic.

Also, if you're willing to try something wacked and senseless, try FLCL. It's not in the action genre per say, but it's got some cool fast action scenes. There are giant robots and a girl that beats people with a bass guitar.

Here's a clip:

I agree with many here about Blue lagoon, though there area aton of other good action anime's

-Cowboy Bebop has been mentioned, but it is epic. it is set in a futuristic setting though we are still using martial arts and today-guns.
-Slayers - though an old series, it is one of my all time favs, it is set in a medieval setting with magic and swordplay.
-Code Geass - Both of them as the 2nd tie up the 1st. It is basically a mecha one but it has several twists and it had me on the edge of my seat more than once.
-Avatar: the last airbender - Though technically not an anime, it is still quite epic, where one uses martial arts to bend the 4 elements.
-Bakuretsu Tenshi - It is rather cool, set in a futuristic setting.
-Ghost in the Shell - this is the famous GITS, I still find it epic, it is set in a futuristic setting where one can augment ones body with cyborg parts, most of the main characters are full cyborgs.
-Black Cat - it does not have action in every episode, but it is quite cool still, it has action in most of the eps. It is set in an alternative near future, where there is a certain group with some severe abilities.
-Full Metal Panic - One of my, if not the, favorite mecha series ever. it is set in the near future, where we still use regular guns, but also use mecha's to enhance combat. the main char is TERRIBLE at working with females outside of hte army, which makes plenty of comedy.
-Orphen - set in a fantasy medieval time, it works where magic is normal and guns dont exist. I found it to be cool.
-Outlaw star - set in the future, where we have space ships nad inhabit plenty of planets, and still we use the normal weaponry. though this some have acquired mystical powers and some are just of differnet species on a higher level than the humans.
-Samurai champloo - set in a feudal japan time, it is made by the same dudes as the ones that made Cowboy Bebop, it rocks just as much as CB does.
- s-Cry-ed - In a slight future thigns happened and created "Alter's", these are able to take parts of the surroundings (like chunks of earth) and make them into a power they have. the main char creates his whole right arm into a claw ting. It is a cool series though it might be weird at first.
-Shakugan no Shana - set in a today time, there are those that call themselves 'Flame haze' they are fighting the Guze as well as other supernatural beings using various magics and weapons. It starts slow but hte 2nd ep will be better than the first.
-Toaru Majutsu no Index - set in a slight future, there is a city where 95% of the inhabitants are students, and among these a great deal fo them have a supernatural ability. the main char has a weird ability with being able to counter ANY supernatural ability with his right hand. Which comes to help a lot but also puts him at a disadvantage every now and then. good series.
-VanDread - set in a future, os far in face that hte males and females live on different planets. Things happen making it so that a ship, that transformed due ot some unforseen things, have both men and women on it, forcing them to fight together agiainst a third enemy. It is packed with space fights in almost every ep and its funny as hell most of the time.
-Zero no tsukaima - Also one of my fav series. it is set in a medieval fantasy world where magic and dragons exist. One of hte main chars is summoned from 'today' and became the familiar of a mage that can normally not cast a single spell to save her life. this series is highly recommended.

All of the mentioned are action filled in one or some way.
if you need info on any of them go here.
http://anidb.net/
It is an INFO site, not a download site.
There you can search for any title and get a mountain of info.
Note that you will not find info on series like Avatar: the last airbender, as that is technically not anime.

-Ghost in the Shell - this is the famous GITS, I still find it epic, it is set in a futuristic setting where one can augment ones body with cyborg parts, most of the main characters are full cyborgs.
I only watched the very first movie of GITS but there was not much action, it was more philosophical.

I agree with Bebop.

Samurai Champloo
The same director of Bebop directed Samurai Champloo.
Great fighting, great music, good story, great action.
