How the hell smokescreen increase the monster Eva if it was casted on me?, have u ever think that I have another monster who can attack if it was casted on another? the smokescreen should reduce the dex player (which was casted on) don't u think?

No, because Smokescreen lowers the visibility of the ENTIRE BATTLEFIELD, so it would be completely ridiculous if the player could not attack it and a summon could.

Plus, there is a glitch with lowering a stat in the RPG. If you have 5 DEX and a spell reduces it by 100, you would have -95 DEX, but since the game counts only absolute values, it would count it as 95 DEX. Which is why I don't like spells that reduce an enemy's stats.

but if u think about it when the monster casts on a player in FF games, there's only one dude who can't hit the monster not all of them

That's not true all the time. Every spell in FF2 can either be single cast or multicast. Which is what this game is based off of...

Also, read the second point.

Still doesn't explain how they get a billion speed and why they can still miss.

The only thing smokescreen does is increase the EVA of the caster (the monster in this case), it does not decrease the DEX of the target because like adamant said, numbers are based on absolute value, meaning negatives are counted as positives. The majority of spells that decrease a stat target your health, because health doesn't count absolute values like stats do.

As for it's speed going up, the spell does not do this, it only raises it's EVA.

Also, as adamant said, it lowers visibility of the entire field, making it harder to hit the caster.

Well, fissure is a little different. It's a lot harder to abuse fissure the way you can with Smokescreen, and it just wouldn't be very effective if it increased the user's stats.

But what about when Ice golem uses fissure I've gone into the negatives...

As Adamant said, it's harder to abuse a stat drain of 50, when at that point, stats are already ending up higher than that, by far.

Even if your defence is dropped to -45 (from 5) the Golem's strength is high enough to get past it.
