I've heard a lot of good things about the Dragon Quest series, but I've never had the chance to play any of those games myself. Anyway, the Star Ocean games are pretty darn fantastic. Maybe a bit lacking in storyline, but they more than make up for it with the totally addictive gameplay and neat item creation and skill systems. Star Ocean: Second Story is one of my favorite games of all time. Certainly worth checking out XD

Legend of Dragon yea is a great game by far, it deserves a sequal as there is an opening, to bad the team split up though.

The parasite eves, I have heard a rumor of a third PE anyone know if this is true.

Shadow Hearts 1,2 not 3 didnt like the way it looked

Dragon Quest though i've only played 8 any others would seem to be great as this one is.

the first Legend of Legia never found the second one yet.

Also Radiata Stories, simple yet oddly fun in so many ways.

The Dragon Warrior series is always a good choice. May I suggest playing 1. Then get 2 and play it. Do the same with 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. That oughta keep ya busy for a while.

I'll sugest tales of eternia on psp legend of dragoon if you can find it on ps1, breath of fire, Blue dragon is pretty awesome, and also this new two new ones coming out on 360 lost odysee and mass effect. i would put more but ill take up a page lol

Kingdom Hears is a good series. Wild Arms is a pretty good RPG. I havnt played any other ones besides the 1st. Popolocrois for the psp is a pretty good RPG.

You might want to try the Star Ocean saga. I have only heard wonderful remarks about the first game in the series (which unfortunately is in the form of an SNES game cartridge).
Star Ocean 2 was released on the PS1 quite a few years back. Still to this date, I have nothing but great things to say about this game. I even hold it higher than Final Fantasy on some occasions.
Star Ocean 3 is a fun game. But that's it. I really can't compare this game on the same level as Star Ocean 2. It's a great game, but not as great as the preceding game.

This is a great series that mixes Science Fiction (space exploration, machinery, time travel) with fantasy (magic, demons, etc). The games all have great perks. Your characters earn skill points as they fight, which can be used towards learning new battle skills. You can cook, craft machinery items, compose music, search for rare items, and even make art! =D

I love Breath of fire III and Dragon Quest VIII they are both excellent especially dragon quest, I loved the story and the cell shadyness was great!!

I also loved PSO for the DC but that's only really any good online & i'm not sure if anyone plays it anymore lol, alternatively theres PSU (which is my current online game) but I dont think that's as good as PSO

Stay clear of Unlimited Saga tho, I really did NOT get that game, I put it in the console thought WFT and decided to never look at it again.....it was ionly worth the FFX disc that came with it
