hell no, i could buy a second hand one for less than that. it's really annoying cos i bought the new bond game yesterday and i can't play it 
what was wrong with it?
it doesn't read discs properly anymore. usually if i just open and close the disc drive it's fine, but that isn't doing it anymore.
is this an old xbox or 360?
a 360. i've had it for about 3 years so it's not even that old.
my ps3 was about the same age when it broke
it's been on the go for at least 18 months though. i've been looking at second hand ones online and some people are trying to charge £180 for them 
youl get people daft enough to buy them aswell :S

We had a fruit bowl but i think it was for display as i remember my mum throwing out all the bananas and apples that had gone bad every few weeks or so. Give me a bunch of grapes though and im sorted.
