Square Enix to Show New RPG Footage in Live Nico Nico Broadcast

Square Enix is holding a live broadcast today to share details on Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur, its new card battle RPG that will be released for iOS and Android soon. The broadcast will be held at Nico Nico from 19:00 and will feature appearances by voice actresses Rina Sato and Yuka Iguchi, both of whom appear in the game.

Even if you're not interested in Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur, you may want to view the broadcast anyway. Square Enix is teasing that the broadcast will contain footage of another new RPG.

What is this mystery RPG? Square Enix did just open an official site for Guardian Cross, a card RPG for iOS. It's possible that the footage will be from that, but to be sure, tune in to Nico Nico for yourself!

Really wonder what it may be. Might just be another iOS game due to the footage of the other game being shown, but who knows

might be the game that meant to be revealed today from the teaser website last week, but who knows we should soon find out :)

yah, it should be soon. Im not getting too excited about it since if it was something huge, there would probably be a big press conference, but who knows.

Square Enix Unveils iOS RPG Star Burial Dragnir

Square Enix provided a first look today at Star Burial Dragnir, a new iOS RPG and the third entry in the company's SiSiLaLa Overdrive label which also includes Chaos Rings II and Diffusion Million Arthur.

Star Burial Dragnir comes to us from Wild Arms designer and writer Akifumi Kaneko. Further details will be announced on April 5 during a live Nico Nico Video broadcast.

So it is not the Guardian Cross game, neither it is Chaos Ring II. SE sure has a lot of iOS projects.

Hmm, yeah they have alot of iOS projects going on. Irritates me since, while the games could be good, the control is just usually awful. I have an iPod touch though so I MAY try them out. I really hate phone gaming

Well I don't see how it would've been Chaos Rings II, seeing as that's already been released :wacky: Though it's like 18 dollars >_> I have the first Chaos Rings, and it's pretty good, so their iOS games aren't exactly low quality. Probably would fare better on Android, though, because a lot of those phones could handle it compared to the iPhone or iPod Touch.

Yeah why not android pfff.. Phone gaming is interesting sometimes, but I wished they didn't focus on this bs so much...

Ugh, must I emphasize how big-deal RPG-style games shouldn't be created for phones? Mobile gaming is just a waste to me. It's so limited depending on what OS it's being designed for, and it seems whenever someone plays a game on a phone, their attention span is limited by 1/10th of what it would be if it were a console game. People play Tetris, Temple Run and Angry Birds because they're simple 'pick up and plays'.
