2010 Xbox 360 vs PS3 Exclusives

I was reading some informations about the best games of 2010 for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3, so I decided to make a thread about this topic. Good article and I definitely agree that the new Grand Turismo is the only clear cut unit shifter of 2010. I do think that the writer is unerestimating the potential of Natal while slightly overestimating The Last Guardian. Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were both darlings of the gaming media, but neither produced staggering sales figures.

Well I'm purely not an Xbox 360 fanboy, but what I hope is PS3 pick up the pieces this year and start hitting home runs with games such as God of War 3 and such. They had a better year than 2008 in my opinion, but still they are far from coming out ahead. I mean Demon Soul's and Uncharted 2 were very impressive on the market, but I believe Xbox still had better game sells and such.

I would assume it's all the DLC Xbox Live has to offer. The smartest move sony ever made was to put the playstation store up and let the user purchase playstation 1 games. Full ps3 games now can be purchased as well via download, but I think Xbox is doing the same.

I can't wait to see what this year has to offer. I'm actually rooting for PS3 this year.. may each console do well though. What's a Wii?

The Wii has some excellent exclusive titles coming out this year actually (Well in my opinion atleast ). Monster Hunter Tri, Trauma Team, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 are looking really good, as are new IPs such as The Grinder, Epic Mickey, and Super Meat Boy.

There's also a new Metroid Prime, a new Zelda, and Dragon Quest X somewhere in the future, though I'm not too sure of a 2010 release for any of them.

Judging by that list, the PS3 is pretty clear cut to win the exclusive battle unless M$oft can pull something major out the bag. The only games that interested me from the 360 side were: Mass Effect 2, Fable III and Gears of War 3. Halo: Reach will sell fantastically well, but like previous Halo titles, I doubt there's much quality to it, just raw hype.

Then you look at the PS3 side of things are a lot of them are well known titles: The Last Guardian, God of War III, Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy XIV (until the 360 version is announced), MAG and possibly Heavy Rain.

PS3 wins for exclusives.

i think what got the 360 down would be the multipatform release of bioshock 2,the first one was a 360 exclusive for a year,but it does have the new splintercell,mass effect 2,and halo reach,against ps3's heavy rain,god of war 3,the last guardian,gran turismo 5,and KH 3,well,if they decide to release KH 3 this year,but the ps3 might win the war this year,after uncharted 2 and the ps3 slim,people are buying ps3's alot more

after Fable 2,im staying clear of Fable 3,never played gears of war,probably never will,i did play a few minutes of the first one and hated it though
