[16/06] Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness (lol) due for western shores in 2016 for PS4

As revealed during Square Enix's E3 2015 conference, the next installment of Star Ocean will indeed be coming westward next year. Unlike its Japanese release, this will be exclusive to PS4, and not a cross-gen release. Foregoing the number in the title, Star Ocean 5's official title will indeed be Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness.

Am I the only excited about this one? Well, probably. Haha.

Anyway, besides the unnecessarily long subtitle, it seem like a decent-looking JRPG so far. I'm curious how it'll affect the series storywise.

A few days late, but to answer your question: no, not at all! For one thing, any JRPG that comes to PS4 has my attention, since that console is still sparse in the JRPG department, but this one in particular looks excellent. I haven't played the previous games in the Star Ocean series, but I will definitely try to remedy that in time for the new game.

I think it looks and sounds pretty damn stunning. Especially that beach area . I think the battle system is pretty much typical Star Ocean, so I'm glad of that. Yeah, I think it could be pretty great.

I did notice though that not a single person clapped at the end lmao. Unless they cut that out so we could only hear the trailer?
