[h=1]Final Fantasy 14 developer video discusses “F.A.T.E.” events[/h]

Square Enix has released a developer video for Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn which discusses the MMO’s Full Active Time Events, also known as F.A.T.E. These are events in the game which can happen randomly while the player is minding his or her own business running about the game world. The events can come in the form of a huge monster spawn, or a group of such appearing in non-instanced areas. When it occurs, an alert will pop up on the game screen so player in the zone can join in. Find out more below. Game’s out on PC and PS3 in August and will release on PS4.

This is very cool. But the video took too long to explain it.

This is a very similar concept to what was in Guild Wars 2 but it looks like it goes a little deeper and a bit broader than what GW2 provided, I am very skeptical on which system to get this for...either PS4 or PC at this moment in time. It looks like they have done so much to the game and it is a much better and much more interesting package than ever before.
