Final Fantasy XIII-2 Ultimania covers

Scenario and battle guides out later this month.

Square Enix has released the final cover art for its upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2 Ultimania guides.


One guide is scenario focused, while the other is centered on battle. Both will be released in Japan later this month.
Square Enix’s Ultimanias are normally huge, and include interviews with the staff behind the game. The Final Fantasy Type-0 Ultimania – released November last year – is 800 pages.

I have to say I'm impressed with the artworks of these covers.

That said, it would have been cool if they had published these ultimania books (the older FFs too) in English too.

I want the cover art featuring Noel, Serah and Lightning chilling around that dark blue crystal formation as my desktop background. Unfortunately it's too low resolution... I hope there's a more widescreen and more high-res one somewhere on Google Images. I love these.

Yes, please. I'm surprised they haven't. I'll admit the throne cover is nice.

The throne cover looks nice, but does lightning look a lot more like a guy in that picture than normal???

The first image with Sarah and Noel in the..city im guessing... just too much for my taste.... the eye cant really focus on the two characters with everything else being equally as bright.
