I saw a trailer for it a few days ago, and I know it just came out on Friday. Anyone seen it yet? Plan to see it soon. I heard it's quite good, so I'm anxious to see it.

Anyway, reviews?

I heard it's quite good, and the trailer leaves me wanting more. I think I'll so it sometime this month too ^_^ It looks amazing, and it's one of the few films I'm excited about lately =]

The PG-13 rating sorta puts me off. It still looks pretty awesome, though. I'll probably give it a look when it comes out on video.

I saw it, and it was very good. It has a very nice storyline and it has a good plot twist at the end. I definately recommend seeing it :)

Hmm, I look at some more reviews and many people said that the actors and storyline were horrible...and that the only good thing about the movie was the CG.

Meh, I'll go ahead and still see it anyway.

Well I happen to love the actor, and went to see the movie because of him. He's still a fairly new at acting though, and hasn't done but a handful of movies, so some might find him not as good as someone more experienced. I liked him, but that's just me.

As for the storyline, it actually is very romantic. If you don't like romance, you probably shouldn't go see it because almost the whole plot is about the love between the two main characters.

I saw the movie this past weekend, and I think it was decent. The first third of the movie is pretty slow, and the special effects they use are so fake looking (i.e the backdrop for the mountain range and all that). However, once the movie begins its rising action, it gets pretty interesting. It still felt a bit modern for me for it being in 10,000 BC though... I think it could've been way better imo. I was expecting it to be darker and grungier.

I saw it this weekend :]
i enjoyed it overall, and i must say Camilla Belle, the lead actress, is gorgeous! XD Pulls off the Cavegirl look very well. :]

Though tbh i cant see myself watching it several times, i think its one of those visually spectacular movies that is only good the first time you watch it and dont know whats coming. I.E Day after Tomorrow :]#
Worth the watch though :))

I watch Day After Tomorrow all the time. That movie is genius. :)

But yeah, I don't see myself seeing this movie again, unless my dad forces me to out of curiosity. Not very gripping the second time round, methinks.

Eww. This movie is not good at all. If you like facts and accuracy, you're going to hate this movie because almost everything looks all made up.

The only saving grace is the romance plot. That's it. The plot also somehow suspiciously resembles that of Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, and in fact, if you looked closely you'd see tons of similarities between the two movies.

I also got around to thinking that the producers took parts from major movie blockbusters and tossed them into this movie too. Like the ships. Kinda reminded me of LoTR ships in the Return of the King.

I just saw it this friday and it was fairly decent, though nothing awe-inspiring. I left feeling a little bored with it, actually. Sure the love story is nice and I'm a sucker for them, of course!
But the whole deal with her coming back to life, after dieing, turned me off. It would've had a much deeper impact, to me, if she hadn't.
I prefer deep, tragic endings. I don't know, I just felt there could've been more to it. And it was strange, I felt like, for some reason, the guy underneath all that silk was going to be the main character's father. Ha ha. Yeah, I'm strange and it wouldn't have made much sense but.. it would've been somewhat exciting. :wacky:

I loved this movie when I saw it!

Camilla Belle is so pretty! I love her blue eyes!

The whole story was really emotional and I really felt attached to the main characters.

The priest guy at the end with the veil and what not was freakin' disgusting though. <_<

It is a great movie. One I'd definitely watch again and again. <3

I just watched this the other night, only because I recognised Steven Strait from The Covenant. It's a good film. Perhaps not the best I've seen, but certainly not the worst. Camille Belle looked like one of those faces you put with someone quite famous. I was surprised to find out she wasn't as known as I thought she was.
