[05/10] Final Fantasy Type-0 Extended TGS Trailer Released

[Disclaimer: This trailer has been out for over a day already, though to those of you who haven't seen it yet, be warned that it does contain content with significant spoilers. Granted we don't know the context of the cutscenes, but proceed with caution anyway.]

Square Enix Japan have just released a new trailer for the upcoming PSP title Final Fantasy Type-0 on the game's official website.

The trailer expands on the footage shown in the minute and a half long Tokyo Game Show trailer, showing off a more full look at the game before its Japanese launch later this month.

Plot Spoilers, Character Introductions and a questionable choice of theme music await you in this new Type-0 Trailer. While we're obviously lacking context, some stuff happens in this trailer which seems pretty spoilerific, so don't say we didn't warn you.

Yeah, I just watched it before. I must say that the trailer shocked me quite a bit. It shows all the characters that were missing. The CGI scenes were pretty crazy. One thing that worries me though is that Rem really looked badly hurt and if Square Enix are just teasing her death like they did with Serah in one of the FF XIII trailers, they did a good job. It actually looks like she died there. All these people dying in the trailer is shocking. I am still annoyed that there is no sign of a localization for Type-0 yet. It is safe to say that Ninbus and Qu'nmi are villains now I guess. Rem looked like she was in a desperate brawl there. By the end of it It looks like Suzaku is being destroyed. This certainly is crazy.

 

[Saints&Storms]

Looks interesting I s'pose, I could have done without that song playing, but looks like Rem dies, hopefully she does that might get some innovation for this game in my opinion, not that I have something against her character or something xD. She looks cool but it'd be nice to have something different happen in the FF again >.>

I think Jack and Nine look like the best characters, but that's just me.

I liked the trailer and the spoilers. I really like the character designs and the Jap voice acting is really good. It seems that this game is hinting to be a bit dark with the trials of war and death. Maybe the members of class Zero get picked off during the course of the game or the end? Rem's "death" has me much more interested in this game. As for the pop song I'll grin and bear it. Here's hoping the Western release song with be a bit better...
