Hmmm.
Personally I won't bother with this as I think FFX's graphics are fine. I don't really see the point in buying a game I already have unless it's a complete remake. But that's just me.

Does anyone know if Auron get a decent sending instead of just some bbollocks cut scene?

I'm not surprised at this news at all. People will look at this and think that it's a waste of time that could be put to better use re-making FFVII - which just isn't going to happen. SE have said time after time that the sheer detail they would have to go into for the towns alone would take years. FFX is far more linear than FFVII and takes much less effort to make money from.

I'm actually super excited for this... Considering the fact PS3s don't run PS2 games, this would allow PS3 owners to play the game, which is my personal favourite. Since I only spent £10 on the PS2 version and bought it Pre-owned, I'm not too concerned about paying a little more to have it again in HD, though I will only do that if there are noticeable improvements and changes.

I hope they don't change the gameplay, dialogue or story! The FMVs can stay the same too as far as I'm concerned, though they may want to fix one short part of The Dance scene in Killikka; Yuna's arm is impossibly thin when it sweeps up from under the water and over her body to her face, just before she starts dancing. ;)

I would like them to change the worst quality models and scenes... The characters look a bit like rag dolls in those. FFXII quality models would be fine. :)

I love this game far too much to complain. ;)

Lots of hate here for a game that is great from the get go.
So what its not a FULL REMAKE - Don't you want them to make Versus?! They need time to make new games... shesh.

I'm all about this HD update. I love having all my favorite games right on my PS3, readily available to play. I also love playing these epic games on my portable because I travel a lot. Honestly, if they just put the game through an HD filter and released it I would pick it up.

I will however be SUPER PISSED if they don't include the Dark Aeons and Penance battle. I don't have the PAL version so I've never battled any of these bosses.

my ps3 plays all ps2 games.

Fantastic news in my opinion. This means we won't have to go through the hardship of seeing SE surely ruin a classic Final Fantasy game. :O

X was never in any real need to be remade in the first place if you ask me and SE simply want more candy from a game that happened to be the last heavyweight in the series (my opinion).

A remaster however leaves everyone happy. The graphics will improve but nothing will be changed, swapped around, removed, etc.

But even then, it leaves me wondering why they don't decide to properly remake those that are in far more need of it like I - VI. Yes, they've been remastered and remade over and over to a certain extent, but what I'm talking about is a.. a.. SUPER REMAKE! :gasp: Y'know, visual based like let's say.. X. Stories completely unchanged, music, etc. But just looking REALLY bloody awesome.

Now that would seriously be fantastic news. It would get everyone back into the older ones who are in much need of love, aswell as those who've never even bothered to try them because they're so out-dated. :worried:

I dunno.. I'm usually against remakes but I would love to see how I - VI would look in this generation..
