According to the latest PlayStation Blogcast, a demo will be hitting the North American PlayStation Network for FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 next week.

No other details have been made available yet, but you can listen to the podcast yourself here. We’ll have more information when available.

I hope xbox 360 gets this as well... playing an demo will be fun, a first for a main final fantasy game as well :D

I'll definitely check it out. But it wasn't the first demo :wacky: Dragon Quest VIII came with an extra disc that was a demo for Final Fantasy XII :lew:

With my pre-order awaiting in a mere 3 weeks, I can skip the demo and enjoy the entire experience! Unless there is an in-game perk I will pass. (hope there is not an in-game "I bought a demo" perk)

i know my plan on Wednesday now :wacky:

but this is awesome, and it free, hopfully you get extra unlockable content by playing the demo :D that would be kool

This is probably for the best simply because this WILL be my key determiner as to whether or not I'll get the full game. If it's anywhere near as remotely shit as XIII it can kiss the purchase goodbye -.-

This is good news.

Maybe in the year 2017 or something, we may get a playable Versus demo! (y)

Anyway, demo will probably just be the first bit of the game, which is never exciting and amounts to little more than the bashing of Auto-Battle, so nah, I've no interest in this. Good for people who are looking forward to the game though, as sorry as I feel for you people. :sad3:

EDIT: Hmm, on second thoughts, may be the Bresha Ruins demo instead. You know, the one shown countless times already at E3 and the smaller events that came after E3.
