[02/01] The 3rd Birthday dated for late March

Square Enix’s heavily anticipated PSP title, The 3rd Birthday, will launch on March 29, the company’s announced today. The game is a story-driven action-RPG backed by a cast of celebrity voice actors.

Aya Brea, protagonist and focal-point to the story, is voiced by Yvonne Strahovski, who some of you may know from NBC’s Chuck. Jensen Ackles, from The CW’s Supernatural, voices the mysterious Kyle Madigan.

“I was immediately interested when Square Enix approached me with the opportunity to play Aya Brea in The 3rd Birthday. I love Aya – she’s strong, driven and ready to take on the world,” said Yvonne Strahovski. “My goal was to bring all of her characteristics to life to really tell her story and create the best experience for all gamers.”

The 3rd Birthday features an all-new story set in a torn-apart New York City, strategic gameplay utilizing the new “Overdrive System,” and the feeling of a “true” action-RPG hybrid.

I didn't know it took place in NYC. I really want to play this game a LOT more now... . But honestly, it does sound cool. Maybe I will give it a shot...

WHAT? She's voice acted by Yvonne Strahovski?! Okay, now that alone makes me want to buy this game. She did an AWESOME job in Mass Effect 2. Wait... Does that mean she's going to have an Australian accent? Some people might not like that >.>

I am really looking forward to this and as I predicted the release would be late March. Guess I can buy Dissidia 012 Duodecim and this at around the same time. I can not wait to play the 3rd birthday.

The date sounds familiar, but I don't remember the source before reading it here. Nonetheless, this is great news-except for my wallet. So many awesome games from S-E (and others) are comings out just weeks (days even!) apart from each other. How do I choose what to get first? ;A;

Crap, why does it have come out at the same time as Dissidia: 012? Now i'm torn between which game I should get first.

kool really can't wait for this... but saying that i couldnt get pass the first level on the japanese version but still... but i'm gonna have to wait to get this one.... cuz it comes out the day after dissidia 012 (i'm europe and there quoting 25th march for dissidia 012)
