No, I still held that assumption, but since whether or not you are shallow in your personal life does not affect me, I didn't need to bring it up until the topic came up. And since it isn't a trait that is seen in day to day conversation, you haven't proven me right or wrong, so the idea still stayed in my head. If you are so convinced that you don't have this trait then fine, I probably shouldn't have even mentioned or thought it (but I'm sure you see how "I'm not saying you're wrong at all," could confuse me), as I said whether or not you are doesn't affect how you treat me or how I treat you. That was probably too strong a way to display how I felt about people who act shallow
