TRU DAT.
IMO, Squeenix is trying to cater too much to the action oriented Western culture. I'd take a slow turn based battle (ala FFIX) over FFXII or FFXIII's battle system any day.
It just bothers me that, for the most part, the game's gonna play itself in battle...
My opinion?
The video game industry is focusing less on the game, and more on how cinematic the experience is. I mean, sure, Final Fantasy has always been known for ass long cutscenes, but when you have a "game" that 50% CGI, that's taking it a bit to the extreme. If I wanted a movie, I'd buy...
I don't think it will be. Sure, it may have had the potential in the beginning, but not this final product.
I predict I will probably beat it (with whatever sidequests interest me) in about 40 hours.
I've played through the game several times, but this has to be my favorite team:
Tidus- Quick and posses time magic. He's a decent damage dealer.
Yuna- Healing and Aeons. I also taught her high level black magic.
Rikku- She was my tank. Seriously. Took her down Auron's and Tidus' route, and...
I couldn't think of anything until you brought up those bad Xaldin memories. FFFFFUUUUUUUUU-
I cannot remember being more mad at a video game. It also happened when you fought in KH.

I'm not at all happy with the summons in this game, nor the system they use. I dunno, it feels like Final Fantasy is drifting farther and farther away from what it's suppose to feel like. Or maybe I'm just wearing the nostalgia goggles a bit too much...

I just recently moved, and it snows ALOT here. I've never driven in the snow, so I had no clue what to expect.
One day I needed to make a trip to work to drop something off. There was a VERY light dusting of snow on the road, and I figured driving on it wouldn't be a problem.
Let me just give...
Since I assume this thread is based on opinion, I'll list what I voted for and why.
FF- The original just has not aged well. I feel bad for saying that, because it was the beginning of an era, but it just isn't that good IMO. I went through the entire game, and found myself lacking motivation...
For me, it was the last set of battles in FFVIII. Why? Because back when I played the game, I did not know how to customize or make new weapons... so I went through the entire game with everyone's starting weapons. It also didn't help that I was severly underleveled. I ended up only have Selphie...
I quite like this theory. It has been quite a while since I last played FFVIII, but it seems to explain stuff that I remember being wrong with the plot (forced romance much?).
I mean, a spear of ice large enough that it probably obliterated a lung and at least knicked the heart in some way, and...
I really enjoy Kingdom Hearts as a series. The only games I haven't enjoyed thus far have been Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days.
358 just... I dunno. I played it for about 3 hours (which, I admit, may not have been long enough to get into the story), but it just did not catch my attention...
I live in the US, so I guess I'm American. lol Though history wise, I am mostly Polish, which I think it amazing. Also got a bit of Cherokee way down the line on my mom's side.
I have to have mushy love stories in my games, whether it be FF or another type game. It just adds to the story in my opinion (AND since I am ronery, gives me something to dream about at night. lol XD)
I actually think one of the major reasons I don't enjoy FFXII or some of the older ones is...
