I linked you to the wiki page. read it dammit the NFL seasons are a bit strange. the new orleans season was played during 2009 but the actual superbowl that the new orleans Saints won took place in january(I think) of 2010.

The 2010 season which I'm talking about was played from August until feb 2011--and the super bowl that the packers won took place in feb 2011. So yes, the new orleans technically won in january 2010 but their season was for 2009, and the season when you and I made the bet took place in august of 2010 to feb 2011.

does that make sense?
