I agree with Link21. I always thought of the Promised Land as being the absolute mental state of peacefulness. But that goes with what jmcgrath was saying, in that it's where she is in mental form, as the mind is only place you can really experience something like that.

My favorite song is definitely the last JENOVA song. Not the song that plays when you actually fight her for the last time, but the one being played as you descend the stairs to get to her. I love playing the bass line on my bass. I could do it for hours.

The first time I played the game I got all the way to Wutai and saved my game. I left my house for a few hours, came back, and when I tried to load my game it said "FILE IS CORRUPTED." Needless to say, I broke my controller against the wall.

I fought almost thirty Pink Puff battles and never gotten a Pink Tail. The only thing they have dropped is an Ether2. I want to stop playing this game and I can't until I get the Pink Tail!

The only thing I'm worried about is the party size. I'm almost willing to bet that it won't be five people like in the original.

I don't think you're confusing the situation, maybe just the item itself. Yang's wife gives you a pan to hit Yang on the head with to knock him out of unconciousness, and then you get the Knife, which is a throwable item.
