She wasn't completely talentless either.
If you watch that and tell me she can't vocalize I don't know what to tell you. Her vocal range is exactly what producers/music companies searched for back in the 50s and 60s. And her lyrics in both of these original songs are beautiful and feminine and not about sex.
So, I kinda don't understand when someone says she's talentless. She has more talent than Christina Aguilera, while Xtina has amazing vocals, at least Gaga can writer her own music and vocalize. If anything I think Lady Gaga is the only one in the music pop industry that has any ounce of talent.
I agree. But you know how the industry is. If a girl doesn't fit the mold they don't succeed. :/

i'm not saying she's entirely talentless. she did a cover of a nat king cole song when i saw her, and the whole style suited her really well. she's made a poor choice in her career i think.
Trivializing or downplaying the traumatic incident someone went through could be considered: immoral. (...if they're joking...)
Also, being willing to throw away ones freedoms, or rights, to be with a guy because hes rich or hot could be considered: immoral. (...if they're not joking...)

No one ever implied that. There are definitely good women & maybe in a lot of cases they're all taken & finding them is difficult.
Not only that, but for men who want a traditional lifestyle where a woman might be a housewife or some other offshoot of traditionalism, there aren't necessarily a lot of women who would find the concept appealing.
To feminists, they might actually be insulted by the concept of a woman cooking and cleaning and being a housewife. They much prefer the symbolism of an independent woman who works and has a career who isn't secondary to her man.
Maybe, on some level, you adhere to these views. Thus, the idea of a woman who is a housewife offends you?
I don't think its indicative of any of those things.
If there's a woman who is single because she has a hard time finding someone she considers a decent man, I wouldn't assume it means she believes all men are horrible. I would just assume circumstances dictate that things should be so.
Likewise, the guy I work with isn't a woman hater.. For whatever reason, he just had a hard time meeting a woman who was interested in having the type of relationship he wanted. Yeah, he was fustrated and had some negative things to say about some of the women he had associated with.
I might assume that practically everyone knows that feeling at one point or another.
It doesn't mean he or anyone else thinks that all women are horrible or immoral people. Or anything like that...

Its much more complex and intricate than most realize.
As of decades ago, they do studies where consumers are psychologically profiled. An example of this is general motors. Its been publicly disclosed they did studies which concluded the majority of american auto consumers would find large SUV's appealing.
The music industry builds a similar profile of the teen demographic(largest consumer of CD's) and builds bands, groups, lyrics, outfits & more or less every aspect of the industry around what their studies tell them will appeal to people.
With four member groups like backstreet boys, nsync, 98 degrees and such... They have a formula they repeat. They have one member older than the rest, one younger, one who is shy and the 4th is the 'badboy' member. They repeat that formula for every 4 member singing group as they believe it will appeal to the widest assortment of demographics and is most likely to guarantee the group is a success.
A person can 'break the mold' and succeed. Madonna, weezer and many other artists have left their big name labels and are self-producing their albums and self-distributing to a degree.

they are probably joking. they're probably insinuating that they wouldn't mind him slapping them around a little bit in bed, hence "all night". not actually beating them like he did rihanna
again, they're teenagers who probably haven't been exposed to what an abusive relationship is like. they're disrespectful but they definitely don't represent american women as a whole.
