Anyone losing faith that this might not come to North America? You'd have thought if they were going to localize it, they'd tell us at E3. With the PSVita coming out at the end of the year, they're running out of time........

They'll release this. I would be absolutely shocked if they don't. Firstly, I see no reason why they wouldn't - a logo with kanji isn't going to stop anyone - as someone on one site feared (look at the localisation of Itadaki Street's renaming to Fortune Street for example). Secondly, as mentioned already, they know this will sell. It is Final Fantasy after all (though this installment actually looks good) from a multinational company and not some obscure little niche Japanese game with an unknown IP from a relatively unknown Japanese company. Thirdly, they can simply announce a western release another time anyway. Its non-appearance in E3 may have been disappointing, but I guess they'll disclose some release window the sooner the game is scheduled to release in Japan.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing the rest of the Class Zero cast revealed. I still want to know what Flute Girl actually does, and whether she's like a Bard character, or actually summons the Dragonzord into battle.
 
I do not see why they would not localize Final Fantasy Type-0 at all. It looks like a really good PSP title and it will help the Square Enix sales even more. E3 was more to show off some new trailers and demos etc. Yes it was very disappointing to see that Type-0 and Versus were not there. SE had a pretty lame lineup for e3. It was all about Final Fantasy XIII-2. Type-0 will give them a better chance to boost sales if the localize it. I really do see this game coming to EU and NA. If it was Japan only, that would be a HUGE shame.
