The spam guidelines are twisted

no, it just doesn't want new members to be spending their time here. They want members to have posts.

Orrrr, they probably changed the spam settings recently?

What exactly is your point? Do you think that they should be changed? Do you think that the person who wrote them should be sacked? Do you just want to raise your post count? :P You need to specifiy these things, but I'll assume you'll be aiming for the first point.

I doubt that the settings were "recently changed." A more likely explanation is that the Spam Guidelines were also plagiarised from ACF and were not under the list of topics, which I was told to re-write during my time as staff.

To the staff: if it needs to be changed, I'd gladly re-write (more) guidelines and forward them on to a given member of staff. It would only take a matter of five or so minutes.

Cool, but no need to say it was done by a drunkard. A simple: "I think this part needs to be updated" would have done nicely.

I'd say just give it time; there's a few things that need to be updated if you browse around, but nothing extremely major or forum-altering at the moment.
