[T] The Hideout

I'm actually seeing some mild appeal in Dead Rising 2. The adverts actually make the game look hilarious. There's something about running over zombies in a child sized bicycle that kinda (really) slays me.

It's supposed to be quite immense online to. I often fail at survival games, but I may give it a shot next time around my mate's.

See, I like survival games like that. The kind that are more fun than actually scary. They've always appealed to me more than Resident Evil, which is often more serious and tense.

Hey, it's never a bad thing. :8F:
I'll agree RE takes itself rather seriously and all that, but it's supposed to. If they went around in chicken costumes and stuff the tension would just be gone. xD

I've been an RE fan for yeaars though, although, I only got back into it about 2 years ago. They used to scare me something awful but they don't really bother me now. :8F:

Oh no, I'm not criticising it. :lew: I do like RE. It's the icon for Survival Horror games. I just prefer games where you can enjoy it rather than feel the tension every step of the way. I also think I like Left 4 Dead because you can try an online mode where you go through the levels with one team controlling the rarer zombies, and one controlling the humans. The zombies respawn, humans don't. It's absically an online 4 vs 4 game, and it looks fun. :gonk:

Oooh, that doesn't sound too bad.
I think RE was the game that originally coined the term since it hadn't really been done before. I don't mind other zombie based games really but none of them are the same to me. :8F:

Yeah. That's the thing. It's like an icon for survival horror. If you asked someone to name a Survival Horror game, they'd probably say Resident Evil.

You can play L4D2 in third person. :hmmm: The controls are a little clunky, though. :sad3:

Clunky how? D:
A lot of people say they dislike RE's camera angles, but I think they're great for bringing suspense and stuff. xD
Although they kinda are a bitch when it comes to aiming, especially with Outbreak i've found so far.

You get an over the shoulder sort of point of view. Not too close, not too far away. I think the first person POV would appeal more to me.

With Left 4 Dead 2, the rarer zombies, called Special Infected, can often pin you down, and you need to be rescued by an ally, or the Special Infected will kill you.

Left 4 Dead has tempted me a few times, but not enough and even on said times, the temptation wasn't that strong. I really can't see me getting any of them games in the end. I will have to see with Dead Rising 2, alas, I will wait for it to go on offer.

I can understand. Different things for different people. :wacky: I loved it as soon as I got the demo. Tia's quite into it too so I'd have somebody to play it with.

When you get that 360, let me know. I might have xbox live gold again at that point, but if not, at least give me your gamertag.

On another note, i would like some imput from the members of [T]. I started a playthrough of FFIX a while ago, and am at the end. From you guys, I would like 2 lineups for the finale at the end. They can consist of the same people, or not.

So, gimme gimme. :mokken:

One of my favourite lineups is:
Zidane
Vivi
Eiko
Amarant

Zidane has the physical ability, Vivi blasts away, Eiko does the same with Holy and keeps the heals up, and Amarant's support. (Chakra :ryan: )

In other news, I was just playing Outbreak... it's... harder on hard mode, that's for sure. :8F:
I know what i'm doing on the Hellfire scenario now, I just need to know where the Shotgun/more ammo is before I can do it. D:

I always find that Zidane / Garnet / Vivi / Steiner do everything just fine, it's not the best team, or the most technical, but they get the job done xD

I'll use that one first. I still want another one, since I don't want to use the same one for both fights.

That's actually a pretty good lineup.

...Harder in Hard Mode? That's mmmmadness!

Alas, no games for definite now, going on holiday on Friday and the build up looks like it'll be hectic. :sad3: I'm half considering taking Pokemon for the flight though.

ALl this Survival Horror talk makes me want to get back into Siren Blood Curse and try to find that SHibito Brain that I can't find ANYWHERE in the entire level, and I can't get the item to beat the level before I kill it, or I get insta-killed :rage:

Being in pitch darkness doesn't help :hmph:

I played ObScure a while back. The scary thing is any of the five main characters can die at any time without you getting a Game Over, so you can be reduced to one student roaming a school full of zombies :gonk:
