It's not much of an identification or much of an addition to the new line of stages (to me anyway) but everyone else seems excited about it.

Yeah I mean the Nova Dragon. I guess you don't really see the Invincible during that battle, and the party are simply floating or something. The Invincible looks nothing like the the map seen in Dissidia anyway, so it won't be that.

Dang, the anticipation is killing me. I wonder who else will get in....I hope Faris and Celes/Edgar make it in. Or maybe Ingus, but as someone stated back (I think) that's a bad change there :/

Thinking of the Prima Vista makes me wonder just maybe in the slightest of chances that Maybe Garnet/Dagger gets in to the roster?

Its a high possibility. Dagger is very popular and so is FF9. Theguywhodidtheinterview did say the most popular would get in and I've seen loads of 9 love, especially for Dagger.

I hope she's in it, she's cool. But if its someone from 9, I wouldn't mind Eiko. :mrgreen:

Imagine an inebriated Terra flinging spells every where in a drunken stupor!

Eiko would deflate a lot of players I think so no chance............she is a great little mage but not much else.

They put Terra in and she's a Mage. They could switch it up. I mean, afterall, they took from Terra. So if they could take, they could give to Dagger.

And you do have a point, but Terra's more agile as a person, she flies/glides after.. I just don't quite seeing Dagger being so... airborn. :hmmm:

Beating a dead horse there channi........or to much of a good thing?

FFIX is a team based game and they dont function well outside of that setting so they are kinda 1 dimensional.

Eiko would be the only child. The rest in the game are teenagers, even OK. ;)
Eiko would be a great choice! You jealuz!

I doubt they'll put Freya in, considering she's a Dragoon knight. They won't double on things, which is why we can safely cut out doubles of everything but sword warriors or mages. :busta:

But you're right on the doubling thing.. maybe D3 Freya would get a chance. For now, we're probably still looking at Seifer/Rinoa, Beatrix/Steiner, Rosa/Edgar, Celes/Locke as possibly candidates...
 
I think that either Steiner or Vivi would have a bit of a chance, since they both have connections to the Prima Vista from that classic scene when the Prima Vista escapes Alexandria. That's assuming that the new characters are to even have a connection with the new maps.

Also... I've finally been able to see the extended trailer due to Yoshita's thread. For some reason the official Dissidia page would never load for me, so I never got to see it. I'm not sure if anyone else has said this (it might have been mentioned on one of the pages I wasn't able to read), so I'm going to say it just in case. It would appear as if Balamb Garden is another stage in this game, or is seen in cutscenes of sorts. It appears from 0:40-0:54.

I might just be jumping on it being Balamb there, but it does look like it. I can't see what else it can be. The rotating disc on top looks quite a lot like the Balamb disc.

It would seem as if they have a bit of an airship fetish this time. That perhaps suggests to me that they are not stages, but are merely for use in cutscenes or from getting from place to place. I hope that they are stages, personally, but to see two airships, and both of them being relatively small for an arena, and both of them showing people on the deck and not inside, it would seem as if either we are going to get a few airship stages, or they airships are not battle environments.
 
Argor I got the impression it was the Balcony of the Bahamut airship from FFXII maybe?

It seemed to close to the floor to be the Gardens rotating disk I would think/\?
 
Ah right. I haven't ever seen the Sky Fortress Bahamut in the actual game. I didn't ever get that far, so I didn't know that it had a rotating disc of similar design.

I guess you are right about it being too close to a level where people could be standing. Even on the roof the disc wouldn't quite be that close. I can't see it being any of the other Gardens either if we're to take that into account.

We can cut out thieves and dragoons. *rubs chin* It seems they don't have a problem with gunners and warriors, so it can be safe they will try not to repeat characters.

Beatrix would make for a great addition, I love her character, but Steiner was awesome and it would be funny to see him interact with others from Dissidia. Rosa was nice, although she was so weak in my game, she was still a important part of the team.

I just hope we don't get doubled up on characters, that way I won't feel as if I'm playing the same character released before. Which is why I love Kain's appearance so much. :x3:
 
FFIX was hard enough to take seriously without the help of a 6 year old child. :mokken:

Yeah unfortunately with the whole 'non-doubling' up thing, I can sadly say there will be no Shuyin for me. :sad3:

And it's not the clothes, he's just infinitely better. <3
