1. She told everyone to...Since her focus was to bring the team together she probably got a glance at Ragnarok too or something but it isn't really confirmed.

2. DOn't think that was confirmed. Most likely something along he lines of it though...

3. Well he's the leader of the Calvary, he rescused Fang and soon rescued the rest of them. He was the Calvary leader so no doubt he was a little famous even before they knew him...I don't think he had a backstory. He just wanted to shape Cocoon into his little paradise...

4. It was revealed when I think Snow called her Claire...It's hazy for me but Snow or Serah (most likely Snow) called her Claire through some scene that escapes me... I don't remember but you can find this answer on the net somewhere. EDIT: Yes it was Serah being impersonated by Bartandelus chp 11

5. Fang was confused I think. She only wanted to fufill her focus so that Vanille could be safe (because Vanille was her only family left). But since she remembered the others were her family and since Vanille wanted to save cocoon, her and Vanille transformed into Ragnarok and saved cocoon instead of destroying it...Although you could say it was destroyed also more or less since the focus of the others were completed :/

6. It was about when Serah helped Vanille after Vanille got hurt (assumption). And Vanille knew that it was her fault that Serah was now a LeCie and some crap about forgiveness and summat...

I don't know, I think that she knew something bad was about to happen considering all the Fal C'ie business and all that.

2. Was Serah's “focus” that cocoon should be destroyed?

Serah's focus was to, in Barthandelus' words "assemble the tools of Cocoon's destruction". I think it was just to make sure that everyone met up in the vestige, basically.

3. How did the heroes in the game know Cid? What backstory did he have?

They didn't know Cid until Snow met him in about chapter 4, before that Fang met him during her escape and he decided to help her. (I think.)

4. When was it revealed that Lightning's name was “Claire”?

Chapter 11, right before the second Barthandelus fight, chapter 12 starts after that. (It's in Oerba)

5. Was Fang devious and corrupt? Or was the thing she transformed into at the end of the game suppose to be “good”?

The first thing was a half transformed Ragnarok (I think) so it didn't do much, it was just attempting to get past Orphan's defences and kill it.
The final one is both Fang and Vanille, while it would normally have devious traits and intend to destroy Cocoon, they both appared to have control over it and ended up saving it instead.

6. What was Serah's talk with Vanille all about?

The one on the beach... I think, I can't really remember that too much at the moment. I think it was just... no, I can't remember, i'm sure someone else will fill it in though. xD

1. Why did Serah tell Snow to save cocoon?

I guess she was aware of the malevolence that the Fal'Cie pose. She may have seen the image of Ragnarok and was therefore entrusting the fate of Cocoon to Lightning and company at her own will. It's only natural that she would want Cocoon to be kept safe considering it's her home and the home of her loved ones.

2. Was Serah's “focus” that cocoon should be destroyed?

No, she had to gather some more people into the Vestige to be made into Pulse L'Cies.

3. How did the heroes in the game know Cid? What backstory did he have?

Well Fang met up with the Cavalry and Raines first when they hire her. Then Snow encountered them next, and finally they aid the rest of the party in Palumpolum with Raines offering to aid the party in invading the Palamecia. He has little in the way of backstory except for the fact that Barthandelus made him a L'Cie before he could fulfil his dream of overthrowing the Fal'Cie dominated government.

4. When was it revealed that Lightning's name was “Claire"?

Dysley under of the guise of Serah blurted it out in Chapter 11 at the derelict bridge near Oerba before the boss battle. He tried to sway Lightning to fulfil their Focus.

5. Was Fang devious and corrupt? Or was the thing she transformed into at the end of the game suppose to be “good”?

Orphan was torturing Vanille, to force Fang to become Ragnarok and destroy Cocoon. Fang of course, did so in hopes of saving her friend. It failed of course, probably because she was not fully willing to destroy Cocoon. I don't think she was corrupt, just that she made some mistakes beforehand in terms of decisions (choosing "salvation" or something like that). The Ragnarok at the end is supposedly more tame as it's composed of the pair of them - therefore not just a mindless machine of destruction anymore.

6. What was Serah's talk with Vanille all about?

Now this bit is a bit fuzzy to me as well. I think Vanille received hints that Serah may have seen the vision of Ragnarok as well. Of course it brought up the whole L'Cie topic and Vanille apologised to Serah for what she had done to start off the chain of events even though Serah was oblivious to it all.
