Nintendo Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

Three attempts later and I caught it with the second Ultra Ball I threw, and it wasn't even paralyzed ._.
i caught lugia with the ball-that-works-better-in-dark-places by putting it to sleep after knocking its hp down, and then throwing it. caught on first attempt. I was ecstatic.

since then lugia has surpassed my typhlosion (which is neat, 'cause my typhlosion had the poke-disease thing, so it has maxed EVs), and is now the most powerful member of my team.

my team is lugia/typhlosion/latios(the blue one)/scyther/haunter/something-else. screw the taboos against legendaries, if i get them i will use them (if they look good. i am superficial when it comes to my pokemon). it helps that i don't care to play online.

I'm playing SoulSilver. Defeated Red, working on filling the ol' Pokedex now. I won't be able to finish it, most likely (due to Mew and Arceus and such), but I can try. :3

My team at the moment is thus:

Tegan, level 79 Ampharos
Nyssa, level 55 Dragonite
Adric, level 41 Meganium
Turlough, level 25 Golem
Peri, level 26 Ninetales
Rani, level 54 Mantine
Jamie, level 29 Umbreon (stays in the Pokewalker)

(Team not intended for competitive battling, obviously.)
Poor Turlough and Peri are getting neglected a bit. Some training is in order, methinks. :s
I'm a bit sad that I don't have room for Lugia in my team, since he's my favorite Pokemon. :|

Shortish post, but interesting nonetheless:

:monster:
Oh man, I almost forgot about this. Thanks for the reminder. Can't wait to get me a flying Raichu. XD

Very odd and random nicknames you've got for your Pokémon there, Ccarayhua. xD I've never been good with names, or else I may give some of them some cool names. >.> I tried a little harder for my RP/Story characters though. :P

Awesome sig btw. :jess:

I just hope they're better remakes than Fire Red and Leaf Green. I actually liked the originals better wtf! The gold and silver remakes do present themselves pretty well though// Honestly, I peaked out at the yellow version. By the time crystal came around, I was practically done with Poke'mon. I did, however, play pearl on the DS and it was fuckin sweet, so the gold and silver remakes do have a promising vibe in that aspect.

i got heart gold yesterday and i chose tododile,i progressed so much that im already at the boat after the johto elite four. i usually use cheating devices on pokemon games and i know that ruins the fun,for now i will ignore that in heart gold,u may same the same that u regret ever cheating in pokemon.

wanna battle or chat, then add me.

I purchased Gold on Saturday and my boyfriend HAD to buy Silver lol cause I was having so much fun XD Its nice playing Pokemon again after such a long time.

I still haven't even gotten my 8th Badge yet. Stupid Voltor Flip. That game is so infuriating yet at the same time so addicting.

Also a question. Not really sure how many people I am spoiling here but just to be safe I am putting spoiler tag.

is it possible to get an elemental stone, fire stone, leaf stone, earlier in HG/SS? Or do I still have to wait until I get to Kanto?

You can get an elemental stone by winning a bug catching contest, I do believe. However, the stone you receive is random, so it's a bit crap really. >< I THINK you can get an elemental stone by winning one of those Pokéathlon things, I'm not too sure though.

I just traded my Pokémon over to Platinum if I needed to evolve them, much less hassle >_>

Catching Ho-oh and waiting for perfec Iv's is really frustrating to be totally honest. I have given up for now :gasp: My Meganium is at level 67 now so I might be able to beat Ash/Red soon. But he is up in the 80's >_< Oh well I want to try my best and not trade level 100's to my game to beat Ash.

lugia ftw. its entrance scene is possibly the most epic i have ever watched in a pokemon game. i caught it with a single dark ball, which was probably a stroke of luck.

Also, it looks damn awesome following you around the cities.

Ah I see thanks a lot. I remember in the original they only gave out Sun Stones so I never bothered with them yet but now that I know about it I will give it a shot tomorrow. I need a Fire Stone. It's about time for my Vulpix to evolve and I am not trying to train it too much more since I want to evolve it soon. I just hope I get a Fire Stone.

I think that they are just renaming it so they can sell the same exact game on a ds chip and make allot of money. I think that they are running out of ideas. Right after gold and silver came out pokemon started to drop. I remember when there were entire stores in the mall dedicated to selling solely pekemon cards. I think that they should start to make these games on a better system like ps3.

Absolutely not because Pokemon would be stupid on playstation hands. Its Nintendo all the way

I have to say I agree with that. I'd rather the series stay with Nintendo.

I finally got all 8 badges now. I think I am underleveled for some reason. My highest leveled Pokemon is at Time to fight the Elite 4. Have their levels changed or are they still around 40-50?

40-50 Lance's Highest pokemon is a level 50 Dragonite. But be careful he has 3

I guess that means I will have to bring out the ice beam since I doubt my Pokemon will be at that level by then. Actually I should be fine because the E4 prior to him should be good enough for me to get to a high enough level.

They are very easy actually. Eaisiest elite four but beware after the league they rise in level like hell xD

That'll never happen, unless of course you discount the Wii.

Pokemon is a Nintendo property because they technically own Gamefreak, the Pokemon developers. Or something like that. Feel free to correct me on that part though. :hmmm:

I don't think Pokemon would sell well on the Playstation 3 tbh. Sales for console games other than Pokemon Stadium have been generally poor. Plus, it's not like the DS where Pokemon's only rival is Mario and that's it, on a current gen console (bar the Wii) there's a hell of a lot of competitive franchises that I don't think Pokemon would stand up to.

pokemon on the ps3 would just be reatarded in my eyes. i cant play pokemon while sitting on the couch or just with a controller, pokemon has always been a handheld to play while waiting for someone or walking around a store, and thats what it always will be. Im sure it would look cool, but would suckk
