Ok, now is the time to chose your class. No cheating. If there are any glitches, post here.
 
Okay, I won't be a fool like last time and exploit any potential glitches, so I say it in advance; I will report if I find any.

Now, to finally enter long awaited new areas, I shall be going the way of the Warrior, I shall draw forth my weapon and fell foul beasts right...now! xD
 
It is not going to be easy. But if anybody is caught with stuff they arent supposed to have, they will be banned from the RPG for 3 days. It is a bit obvious, since people set their stats according to their class. At least they were supposed to.

Which reminds me, I need to edit the rules.

im having trouble with the mage area too. my mag def is like at 70 and yet im still getting hit over 100 pts of damage against those uncurse dragon. when i first started battling, they always hit for 45 so i added more mag def to see if it would decrease or not, which it did not for like a battle or 2. then all of a sudden they started to hit me for over 100 almost every time. then being slow doesn't help at all
 
Think his SPD is his problem. If he didnt have to wait for several turns, he would be fine.
 
The Mage areas are pretty sick. Except that Warriors could choose Mage areas and solo them easily. The monsters should've been given 500 DEF like in the RPG two years ago.

you think warrior could solo the mage area easily? i personally don't think they can or atleast it won't be easy. with high mag def and they're still doing over 100 pts of damage, wonder what kind of damage they would do if you only had 10 mag def. then facing up to as much as 4 of them and they are decide to use magic in a round, you're almost dead and not being able to heal that much so they could easily kill you off next round

for me it kind of feel like i have no say in the outcome of the battle at all, if the monster wanted to kill me, they could easily do it or if they feel sorry for me, they could let me win by not using any spell at all which actually happen once.
 
It sounds then like the assassin area is the most balanced xD I'm not having any real trouble so far. I just find that spell Kain has to be annoying as hell :rage:
 
Well it's supposed to be a challenge for each class... And since Warriors don't really focus much on Mag Def, i don't think these is any way they could get through mine.
 
I have 40 MAG DEF. :wacky: Anyways, I am plenty satisfied with the Warrior stuff, once I get 50 Welding skill, I'll be awesome, then once I get to Level 100 Welding I'll be able to be awesomer. xD
 
What's the crack with the assassin attack type being 40 combat? I got told assassin's needed to raise welding and arcane, by Damon, so I've been doing that. My combat is TWELVE. =/

And, Damon said there would be assassin daggers in the assassin's shop =/ Is it just me, or are assassin's being really...nerfed? =/
 
They have indeed been nerfed. D=

You will have to talk to Damon about that one tomorrow or whenever he logs back in
