Amazon – FFXIII Collector’s Edition to cost €72

Amazon.de has a little more information about the elusive Final Fantasy XIII special edition, first mentioned in a newsletter from Square Enix Europe.
The collector’s edition will cost €71.99 ($103). A plain game goes for €62.99 ($90). What kind of goodies can Square Enix Europe add for an extra ten bucks?

Past Europe-only special editions included hardback art books (Crisis Core), mini-soundtrack CDs (Star Ocean: The Last Hope), and lithograph prints (Dissidia). Actually, Dissidia: Final Fantasy had all of those items.

So far, Square Enix has not announced a limited edition of Final Fantasy XIII for North America.

I suppose you'll get a special edition as well, I'd be hugely surprised if you didn't. I suppose it just hasn't been announced yet

Yeah we get in, surprisingly, they've announced a collectors edition for us and not the US (yet). There's probably just going to be some artbook or sample OST thrown in there, something along those lines. And I think it's around £65, it'll be cheaper in shops minds, everything always seems to be overpriced on the internet when it comes to FFXIII, the normal edition was going for £99 on Ebay.

Oooh, snazzy, looks like Im skinting myself for the collectors edition then Im gunna spend the first half of this year broke, as soon as Ive recovered fromt he PS3 purchase Il be buying that and the guide

Eep, Im going to be unemployed and skint!! No freaking fair as this is something us in Europe finally get! Screw it if it makes me skint. I may shop around and see if anywhere else is doing it at a cheaper price.
