Meh, since these movies aren't directly tied to the games and thus can't damage their integrity, I don't really see the harm in another one. The movies are pretty bad. But I usually find that they are good mindless zombie flicks for a night in.

i don't think there was any name drop of the Video game characters in the Resident Evil movies except Carlos and Jill who were actual characters



If this movie turns to be more like the Video game i'll go see it

It was already expected that they would be making another one, so this is no surprise. I like the RE movies, although 2 and 3 were pretty 'meh'. It would be interesting to see the 4th one just for the hell of it - I just wished Claire Redfield would actually kick more ass this time around seeing as she's my favorite RE character. Her role on the 3rd one doesn't seem to be like the character in the video game at all. I'm anxious to see Chris and Leon in the film, although I'm not certain if their characters are confirmed yet. I just hope they actually make a good movie out of this. >.>
