OK, I really think Britain's Got Talent isn't for singers and dancers. Singers have X-factor, but dancers should have a competition for themselves like singers due to the huge no. of self-claimed dancers. It's one of the most found talent, like singing. BGT should focus on talents that are rarer then those two, right.

Discuss and say whether we should or not to host one! :monster:

I think it's highly unfair you restrict a show which is open to all talents, and not let singers/dancers have a try. A lot of different acts didn't pull it off this year, a lot of animal acts failed to get off the ground, comedians werent that funny, you had terrible ventriloquists etc.

Fair enough, have a dance show and all that, but don't restrict who can go on BGT.

@ Misty, I'm not trying to restrict anyone. well, a twist to dancing and singing would be count as a BGT entry, normal sing and dance acts too, if they did something special.

I think I'm losing ma mind tbqh...

Ah I feel your pain - I wasn't amused by the lack of decent ability in other acts that auditioned - really wanted a decent animal act, but none ever showed up! There was too many singers, ESP dancers. People just need to be better at what they do in any potential talent, and make sure they're top notch next year!

that's exactly what im feeling. high five. lol

but seriously, they should search for a variety, not restricting it to a few, like singing and dancing. plus, talent shows search for talent, singing shows search for singers but dancers? hmmm...

I agree. If they created a dancer show, then changed the rules of X-factor to allow younger people a shot at music, then discourage them from entering BGT, then everyone wins...

Who knows? More people with weird talents or interesting acts might crawl out from the dark if they feel confident that the winner isn't just going to be another singer or dancer.

Um.
So you Think you Can Dance.

._.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. :wacky:

I'm not sure if this show is everywhere...but we've got So You Think You Can Dance here in the States. I've never actually watched the show, but I always got the idea that it was an Americal Idol-esque competition for dancers.

Then again, I'm not sure if they accept all dancers or certain styles of dance...I really don't know a damn thing about the show besides its name, it seems. :wacky:

I'd have to agree with a show for dancers, and I think it'd be a lot more entertaining than the Xfactor and BGT. Clearly, having seen the amount of dance acts in this years BGT, dancing is on the up in this country, and there was some fantastic choreography involved, especially from Diversity, it was simply breath taking.
