I thinks FF7 is the best FF, rest are shit.

OMG, r u deluded? FF7 is totally overrated, the graphics in tht mega shark vs octupuss is better than FF7! FF12 was atleast diffrent, unlike 7 which was just a rehash starring a bunch of emos, heck even FF9 was better. Damn u need help

OMFG, are you serious? fucking pokemon dungeon is better than ff9... Now that I think of it, POKEMANZ > FINAL FANTASY

Anyway people are allowed to have opinions.

Some people love FF7.
Some people think it is overated.
Some people love it AND love others.

Just because one doesn't fit your kind of fan doesn't make them wrong, for they'd stick to justify their fandom with their own views etc.

I fit the last category, in that I love most FF's.

And FF9, which is "heck even better" than FF7 :wacky:, I enjoyed that game. It was a lot of fun.

There are lots of FF9 fans on here, and I don't see what is wrong with it as a game to be assumed to be bad.

Anyway, most people that say all other FF's are crawp are usually people who have only played FF7, and maybe one or two others. OR.... People who have only seen the movie and played Crisis Core. :monster:


I hope I commit no crime in liking more than one FF game. :O

Aight, I just can't see wht the hype bout FF7 is all bout, hell even aeris death was borin. It was just like a copy of 4 and the skill system is/was shit. Plus its FF7's fault we see so many cliche emo heroes, like cloud. I think it might b more overated than ocarina of time, people treat that like a way of life.

p.s.

FF7 was sold on sex appeal, just like friggin pokemon
 
Cloud wasn't really that emo until Advent Children really. I thought he was pretty cool in FF7.

And FF7 did also contain a lot of interesting and unique and funny characters in the FF universe that weren't emo at all.

Barret, Red XIII, Cait Sith, Don Corneo :awesome:.
Just like FF6, FF4, FF9, FF10 etc all contained characters worthy of remembrance other than the lead.


I've not heard the copy of FF4 argument before, why do you think so?

Yh ok cloud werent tht emo bak then, but then square started mliking the series like the mario sports titles, an all cuz FF7 got so overrated, that's the one reason i dont like it, ff7 and ocarina of time are praised way to much, and when u look bak and play ff7 u can c how much they exagerated on how good it was.

It rlly didnt do nothing new for the series apart from the 3d, it used the same ATB as ff 4 and was basically same map and world structure. oh and when u did a summon and had to watch it all the time, that was annoying! btw I dont like ff9 cuz I dont think it captured the magic of the old ones,it at least tried tho.
