Hall of Fame

I was thinking of creating a Hall of Fame thread (which would be stickied and locked) only for the Final Fantasy Fun area as a incentive for more people to join the games we all made.

Instead of members join the games just out of boredom it would also be great having our acomplishments noted by everyone.

I had some great ideas for games that work excellent on other forums that could work much better if this were possible.

What do you guys think?

Sound's like an ok idea to me. Although sounds liek a lot of hard work for whoever maybe in charge of it if there are alot of games to sift through...

If I create thread (providing I can edit my post after being locked) could take care of it.

Of course not all games were counted towards it, only the ones that have one winner, second and third place. (such as Codebreaker)

If a mod(s) on that section would want to help as well even the better.

I like the idea and if someone is willing to put in the work I think it could work out very well. Considering you've already shown interest in doing it yourself Ruka, I can't see a problem with it really.

If it can't be set up so you can edit your thread after it has been locked, I suggest that maybe you take note of all the changes that need to be made, then you PM a mod with those changes so he/she can edit the post for you....just a suggestion anyway.

Tried to edit a post on the Archives and it worked out, so edit the first post won't be a problem.

And Yes I would do it myself its not something hard to do, seeing my course only starts in February I have more than enough time to look up on older threads and make up a list in no time.

If by some reason I couldn't edit the thread, then yes I would follow your suggestion.

All I need is an "Ok" from a mod on that section.

As far as I'm aware, you can't. Even as a section moderator, I couldn't do that.

There's a difference between a closed thread and one that has been archived. Closed threads are almost frozen the way they are for all but section moderators (in their own sections) and above, whereas the archives is a forum where you cannot post but threads are still "alive", if my terminology makes any sense to you. I used to be the clan leader of The Illuminati and, after leaving that post, I couldn't edit some of the threads I'd made, which were closed.

Anyhow, to summarise, we could either leave the thread open, so that you could edit it yourself, or you'd need to PM a moderator with the changes.
