What features would you like to see in the sequel? Also, now that you've had a chance to play several character types, which will your character type most likely be in Fallout 4?

Fallout 3 was so incredible, I think I'd add a fair few changes:

1.Some easier to find ammunition, I always found sometimes I ran low on it, never for the 10mm Pistol though.
2.I think I'd also add a few more areas to explore, giving more to the story instead of the huge amount of sidequests.

My character will most likely be a speech-inspired one. Once speech is maxed, I usually went for lockpicking and small guns. I can't wait till Falllout 4, number 3 was really good.

The number 1 thing I would like to see added is vehicles, specifically motorcycles. Every busted one I saw laying around was only a reminder that I couldn't use it. I would love to see fast travel taken out of the game if motorcycles were added. It would really help make the repair skill more desirable as well.

The second thing I'd like to see is the skills given more depth. Sure it's cool that a high repair skill allows you to keep your equipment in better standing but wouldn't it be nice if, at a certain skill level, you could repair that equipment with less components?

For example, Outcast Power Armor can only repair Outcast Power Armor but not regular Power Armor or any of the Enclave Armors. Regular Assault Rifles can't repair Chinese Assault Rifles. Those things should be fixed and that's just an example of one skill. Another example is if a higher small gun skill would allow you to reload faster, dual wield, or use more complex versions of small guns that may not be usable without a higher skill.

The third is they need to make melee and unarmed a combined skill of "physical fitness" which allows you the ability to run at faster speeds, hit harder, and perform combos. It's a real weakness to rely entirely on melee combat in a fight... just because closing the distance is difficult. And they need to add specific aiming for melee/unarmed attacks and reduce the AP cost. In the first two Fallouts, AP usage was directly correlated to the weapon type you were using. Small Guns took 4 where Unarmed only took 3, and there were perks to reduce AP usage for either.

The last thing I would really like to see is more weapon variety for classes other than small guns. The "named" specialty weapons are cool... but in Fallout 2 there were usually multiple versions of every weapon. In fact I think there were 3 versions of the minigun... so more weapons and multiples of each.

Also to your comments, Small Guns has a lot of variety for weaponry, which is why ammo is difficult to find. So maybe install some sort of even ammo exchange booths (like Nuka-Cola vending machines) where any unused ammo the player didn't want, could be traded in for an equal amount of usable ammo.

That was pointless as the game is out for the 360, PS3, and PC...
Righty-oh I'll move it back to Rocket Town then.

Moved.

[Mod Edit: I google'd this game and I only managed to find this game for the PC - even Wikipedia only has it down for the PC. Apologies for the confusion.

Right next to the building of Operation Anchorage, lies a bridge, with perfect condition motorcycles on it. After reading your post Aztec, I wondered, it would be awesome if you could search them all, and get part, eventually making one. I mean, you find the Gas Tank and Handbrake, but those are for Schematics. I would love motorcycles in this game.

After reading your post more carefully, I find you have mentioned the ammunition supply I mentioned. I'm hoping for another thing like the Scrounger perk, because with that, I find tonnes more ammunition in boxes than usual. I especially hope Harold returns in Fallout 4, I killed him. By the way Aztec, since you seem to know Fallout 3 fairly well, can you tell me who is the man near Oasis? Hes standing outside some power station thing, southeast of Oasis. He mentions something about the god, then when I got out of the conversation, I went forwards to talk again, and as soon as our bodies touched, he screamed, and dropped to the floor, dead.
His title was Wasteland Merchant I think, it was sort of creepy.
Speaking of creepy, Andale is the weirdest civilization I know of. I like it due to its horror movie-ness, and the supply of fairly good condition Rippers.

Anyways, enough of my insane typing at 5:20AM, Hope to hear from you soon, bye.

Yea, in Fallout 2 you could actually build an old Chryslus Highwayman by collecting parts and paying some big dinero throughout the wastes. It required money but it was something incredibly cool to have. It's a shame they didn't keep the concept in Fallout 3

After a little snooping around on gaming sites, I found the infinite XP glitch. Apparently, if you have the Mr Sandman perk, and you kill a kid while hes sleeping, he won't die, but you gain XP. So you could just assassinate him so many times, and gain XP that just folds on each other, giving boiling hot bliss into your arteries..Thats taking it a little too far, but still. I'm thinking that since you need Sneak skill to not wake someone up, a Stealth Boy would suffice. Of course, they're fairly rare, but they last for 3 in-game hours. So 1 Stealth Boy could give..well I'd have to check. I'm hoping XP in the 30s :ohshit:.

Fallout 3 was awesome but what will make fallout 4 much better than 3? What will fallout 4 have that 3 does not? Will there be the same guns and a longer story mode? Anyways Fallout 3 is awesome and I do not really expect a Fallout 4.

Well, Fallout New Vega is out soon, so Im assuming its a Fallout 4. It doesnt seem to be an add on as its a new character and a different location. Looks fantastic!

:jess:

Omg, this looks amazing! xD I loved fallout 3 and so fallout 4 will be like "AHHH!" When does it come out?

One thing though I wish your characters spoke. Idunno, I just prefered it better that way.

I think Bethesda has repeatedly stated that Fallout: New Vegas is not Fallout 4. :hmmm:

Although there are a myriad of improvements from better dialogue to a different settings, I think the game will look very similar to Fallout 3 in terms of interface and player character.

Feel free to browse around the New Vegas section. Looks pretty interesting so far.

Oh right. Thanks Tadao, I was unaware if it was 4 or not. Thanks for pointing that out.

As for release date, Im getting Fall 2010 from most sites.

Seems like it. Actually I hope that's it. Gives me something to look forward to in the fall. :wacky:

Hopefully this version isn't as buggy as the last version where it crashed way too much after you downloaded 'Broken Steel'.
