Honestly, even after the fourth disc, I STILL don't know how the whole Junction thing works.

Squall is level 35, Zell is 20, and Quistis is 18...My characters can hit a high of 200-300. Their HP is about 1000 - 2000.

 ---> Yes, you are probably doing that right now...

I don't have any useful magic spells except firaga, blizzaga, etc. I don't have any spells like flare to kill Adel. If I use meteor for example, I could kill Rinoa.

Whenever I try to leave the area, Squall keeps saying that he doesn't want to leave Rinoa behind...so practically I can't level up, draw good magic spells, etc.

What I Do In The Boss Battle:

First and foremost, I summon Cerberus so I can cast magic spells twice/three times. I use haste, protect, and shell. Afterwards, I use draw regen from Rinoa and cast it on her. Now, since I don't have good magic spells, I've used stones like Flare stones. At first, I thought I could summon GF's and then quickly use cura/curaga on Rinoa before she dies. Well, Adel finishes my party off by using ultima or meteor. Sad, isn't it? Maybe I'm just so use to using the Sphere Grid in FFX.

NEED HELP. Maybe I'm screwed and I have to start all over again, or maybe someone has a really good stategy... JUST MAYBE...

I'm not even up to the trabia garden bit yet and I'm doing 1000+ which isn't all that great. So you will probably have to start again.

At the beginning of the battle cast meltdown on Adel, then Aura on squall, then just using Lionheart on Adel and curing rinoa. That should beat Adel, though at your level it may take more time

I don't think I have meltdown, but I'll double check. I already started a new game and I'm going to level up my characters more...and draw a lot more magic and stock for later in the game. Thanks for the reply btw.

Well... really, since monsters at least have magic you can draw in Lunatic Pandora, you should draw magic that you dont have.

The junction system is exactly what makes the game so easy. Got tents? Refine them into curagas and junction them to a characters health. It'll probably go up by 1000-2000.

Also, refine your stones for magic to junction to characters instead of using them up. Especially if you have a viable amount of Windmills. Those'll do you some real justice. :neomon:

if you have a 100 shells, junction them to Squall's magic defense stat.

Final Fantasy is really the easiest Final Fantasy there is if you actually use the junction system tbh. :wacky:

I must feel really dumb for still not knowing how the whole junction thing works. I always relied on GF's to do the job and didn't care much about my characters. All I really care is making my att (hit 1000's), def, and HP super high.
