I've got an idea.

Everyone. Without using a translator... what does....

"E MEGA PUPPC!" mean? :wacky:

I think you mean "E MEGA PUUPC!" other wise it says "I like bobbs"

Dammit, ive been foiled by typos. What shittery. >: O

e mega puupc. Gracias, senor.:neomon:

I have a hard enough grasp of the English language never mind any others so I can safely say I have NO idea what all that means...unless I cheat and use a translator but i cba :wacky:

Al Bhed dictionary

ok after a long time i have compiled an Al Bhed dictionary. it's Al Bhed letters first, then english letters. the dictionary is basically the alphabet.
e-a
p-b
s-c
t-d
i-e
w-f
k-g
n-h
u-i
v-j
g-k
c-l
l-m
r-n
y-o
b-p
x-q
h-r
m-s
d-t
o-u
f-v
z-w
q-x
a-y
j-z
hope this helps all of you people who can't understand Al Bhed.

Not to devalue your compilation work, but you could've just gone to gamefaqs.com. In any case, I always found Al Bhed kinda lame in that they serve up a code as if it were a completely different language - I mean, I guess I can't expect the Square team to have linguists on hand for artificial construction, but it's still dumb. </pet peeve>

either this guys wrong or that translators wrong cause the letters dont match up. and your bold beaming blue letters hurt my eyes!

Been messing about on a translator typing in random things, and found this quite funny:

I typed in "Dave" to translate to Al Bhed, which translates as "Tyja"
Then I typed in "Tyja" to translate from English to Al Bhed, and it translated as "Dozy"

Dozy Dave!

Just typed in "Penelo"

In Al Bhed it translates as "Bahamu"

Just one letter off, coincidence or intended do you think?

i think its coincidence it would make sense though if you can find the letter which means t ( i think its d in english) but then it isnt pennelod ( which would be bahumet)

Yeah "T" is "D"

Pretty strange if it wasn't intended, probably wasn't, but found it cool lol.
