new amano art reveals more Dissidia Villians

A few villians have been confirmed, with the release of some conceptual art, composed by Amano. The villians are scattered throughout the image.

Locations of all villains on the promotional poster are as follows:

Sephiroth is in between Cosmos and Chaos.

Garland is under the logo.

Kefka is rumoured to be Behind Chaos, but that's kind of indefinite.

Cloud of Darkness is rumoured to be above Chaos, (but I'm not sure about that either, someone who's played FFIII will have to confirm that for me).

Kuja is beside Cosmos, above Kuja is Emperor Mateus Palamecia.

the Warrior popping up beside the giant ceature's thigh is rumoured to be Jecht and is hard to doubt.

Then basically in the large creature's hand is Ultimecia. Wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be Griever.

Hopefully, Seifer will be included, I'm looking forward to kicking Squall's ass all day, rly.

In that picture the only one I can definatly see is Sephiroth xD I guess I need to look at more of Amanos art works.

I think that considering that all the villains have been confirmed so far, Seifer and Vayne being in the game wouldn't be too far fetched. Hopefully all the villains from FFI-FFXII will be in it.

I see Ultimecia on the upper left corner. I don't really see Kuja. >_< Darn, I can't find Kefka! He better be in this game! D= Obliviously Sephiroth is in the middle. :rolleyes: Also that naked girl to the right of Sephiroth... It looks like Yunalesca.

I concur with Cerridwen: Ultimecia is in the top left corner, in the creature's hand. On the opposite side in the other hand, there is Ex-Death/Exodus, however, he's hard to see because of the glare, but he is definitely there.

I also think that it's Yunalesca. I've played FFIII, and not a chance in hell is that Cloud of Darkness. I think that small warrior is Jecht.

I wonder if Zeromus and Vayne will be in it, I hope so. I hope Yu Yevon's human incarnation will be in the game ... and not that pathetic bug form of his.
 
I see Sephy Garland & Ultimecia - thats it :wacky: I can't make anything else out, I think I need my eyes testing.

Tried to find the Cloud of Darkness but I give up before I get eyestrain :wacky:
 
This is just my own personal opinion, but I can't really see Seifer as the villain.

After finding out about Ultimecia, I thought he was manipulated by her or something. The whole "you're just a boy" thing in Disc 1 made a lot of sense too then.

And the ending where he's fishing kind of gives people the impression that he's reformed or something.

But anyways, Amano's art is really cool. I saw an art book on sale a year ago, but I didn't have the cash to buy it :(

I think that Kuja may be in his casual form that he's seen in first. Mind you, I've not played a lot of FFIX, so that's all that I know to call it. Also, damn photobucket and it's picture resizing. :neomon:
 
Well, they said the premise of the game is the main heroes vs the main villains.
So, all of those make sense. xD
 
Hmm, that naked chick above Chaos and, supposed, Kefka looks like Barbariccia/Valvalis from FF4
 
So jecht is gonna be in the game..very interesting.. I never saw him as an actual villian because he couldn't really help what he was doing..

I wonder why they still haven't confirmed whether or not Cloud is gonna be in the game. I mean they have Sephiroth in it, so shouldn't Cloud be? I wonder what the hold-up is..
 
Of course Cloud is going to be in it, you can't have a FF game with Sephiroth, and other main characters and not Cloud :wacky: I think Nomura would cry if you suggested removing Cloud :monster:

I think Jecht got chosen because he could be adapted for more easily for a fighting game than say, Seymour could have been.
 
I just surfed the net a little bit and I don't know how credible this is, but the info said that in a private screening of Dissidia, they showed Squall from FFVIII going against Sephiroth from FFVII o_O

So maybe, that would indicate that you CAN choose your opponents in the games and not just someone who is from the same original game.
 
One would assume that there would be a VS mode, seperate from the main story, as is the norm in most fighting games.

A team battle mode would be freaking sweet though!

And it depends where your source came from, since there are a few unreleased trailers for most SE games, I think.

Well, trying to being possitive in the fact that Tidus is in the game, that probably makes that another opposite character of the same game (Final Fantasy X) must be in it. BUT IT IS ONLY RUMORED THE NAME OF JECHT!....(a father-son fight in the middle of a universal war!?....¬¬)

And following this rule of (at least) 2 characters of the same game....Sephiroth wouldn't be alone....right? It's the big secret, he's not going to be show until the last game party.

The producer's game Yôsuke Shiokawa said that it will be minimum 10 characters at the star of the game, and there will be more of them unblockable and optionals.

The game has a story (Dissidia is not a simply fighting game):
Cosmos (Light Goddess) faces Chaos (Dark God) for the universe control. Both of them will summon Final Fantasy's Characters to fight between them.
(Well....probably it is another fighting game....¬¬)
 
you know what that large black thing in the background reminds me of, Amano's original design for Chaos...just something i thought worht noting :D
