Summary
The Kingdom of Seseu is under attack by the Aldabran Empire. Sir Cairn has been demoted for failing to protect the frontier that divides Aldabra and Seseu, thus allowing the Aldabran Empire to start their conquest on the southwest, where the Kingdom of Seseu is located. So far 1/4 of the Kingdom of Seseu has been conquered, and the imperial army seemed to have gained the upper hand in this battle. The world is once again caught in a spiral of war, hatred and sadness, and the guardians of life watch in disgust as the land is torn apart, thus planning to end the war and the hatred born out of the hearts of humankind once and for all.

One month of absence equals a "Lost in action" meaning that we will consider that your character suddenly disappeared without explanation. Members can return even if they were "lost in action".
You can join, even if you haven't been part of the "Tales of FFF" RP.

It is advisable to...
-Keep battles between a 10 post limit for personal fights, and 20 for team battles. Not everything in RPs is a fight you know. Also long drawn out battles can kill the fun for others...this IS NOT A RULE, only a recommendation.

-If you want to leave, post here and make it a big bang finale. Make it cool or dramatic, worthy to remember.
Choosing Sides
For this RP, it is advisable to choose a side between the Aldabran Empire and the Kingdom of Seseu, though choosing a completely original side is acceptable. If you bring an original one, please bring a brief description of your kingdom/empire/city/whatever it is/ of its locations, characteristics, town names, etc.
It is also acceptable to choose your own side, no factions, just you and your own destiny.

The Storyline-Long Version
Our story begins within the 3 years of War, when Sir Cairn was demoted from his position of head of the Aleria Guard, due to his failure at defending the Aldabra-Seseu frontier, and for losing the Fortress of Helena to the aldabrans. The menacing armies of the Aldabran Empire had almost gained control of 1/4 of the Kingdom of Seseu, having Seseu on the verge of collapse and soon to be conquered if nothing is done.
Over the years, men and other mythical beasts have spoken of an ancient prophesy: "When the world is torn apart by war and greed, our time to pass judgment on these mortal beings will come. Under a cataclysm of fire and pain thou shall perish, brought by the demon born of thy hatred" Many ignored the meaning of this prophesy, other had thought of it as a mere fairy tale. What are these beings that will pass judgment on this world? Who is this "demon" they mention? Our answers lies within the pages of a long forgotten story....
The Kingdom of Seseu
The Kingdom of Seseu was established four years after the birth of the Aldabran Kingdom now Empire (for reference to Aldabra, check the biographies of Julius, Maximilian and Lucius). It was created to unify the region of Sesau, once torn by conflict between Clans. Lord Balian and his household accomplish to unite the land, bringing an era of peace and prosperity for the people of Seseu. Without losing much time, Lord Balian established a Peace Treaty with Aldabra, and thus their trading and friendly cooperation between kingdoms was born.
The Kingdom of Sesau is mainly forests and fields, with a desert to the south, the Malthian Sea to the west from where travelers arrive to the port town of Vaid, a commercial city ruled by governor Taden Almeria, the city of Vaid being the central point of traders, inns, a Colosseum and the lands largest port for transport by sea and air. The other parts of Sesau are the forest of Nadian, famous for its abundant flora and fauna and for hiding the secrets of the Ancient Temple within its woods, the ice forest of Dian, a forest whose greener was covered of a place overrun with pine trees, ever green watchers of this not fully explored, ice region. The forest of Dian is said to be magical, and its the home of the elves. The mountainous region of Seseau begins to the northwest of the land, with the high cliffs of Milian, an abandoned region overrun with monsters and has little to zero vegetation, the ice peaks of Laen to the north serving as a natural frontier that makes it hard for invaders to pass through this area, the Ohen Canyon, and seemingly bottomless hole that leads to the underground Salek Mines, guarded by the dwarves. The Helena Fortress to the southwest, surrounded by a series of mountains that make the path of the Fortress of Helena the only way to access Seseu by land. Many other villages and towns are scattered through the land of Seseu, the most important being the city of Palacious, the largest city of the Kingdom of Seseu, famous for its unique beauty and for being the center of the kingdom, having the Saleria Castle. The Saleria Castle is large, having over 50 rooms distributed between the lower levels for the soldiers and their training facilities, the mid-levels having the main hall, the kitchen, the library and the courtyard outside, and the upper levels being the throne room, and the chambers of the high ranking general and commanders, and guests, as well as the last floor being the chambers of the royal family. The ballroom is located to the south of the castle, connected by a passageway of beautiful fountains and gardens.
The Paths of Tragedy Background Story:
17 years before the birth of Julius...
Cairn Crey Rosencrant Valthere was born on April the 3rd, during the year of our Lord Balian on 1487. Being born of a family of knights, Cairn was raised as a honorable man. His parents, Lord Victor Rosencrant Lancaster and Irene Valthere Isaldir, were renowned for their influence in society, mainly his father from being a member of the Aleria Guard, Lord Balian's personal body guard. The kingdom of Sesau, located to the northeast of Albabra, is ruled by the Aldamith Family, Lord Balian being the head of the household.
Being born a privileged child, Cairn did not allow his status to tarnish the honor of being humble, so he spent much of his time with other soldiers rather than staying at home. As the years passed, Cairn became experienced in all sorts of skills, developing many abilities and soon becoming head of the Aleria Guard himself, when his father opted for retirement. Sadly, the good times were soon to be gone, for a tragedy would stain Cairn's life.
On a mission in which they were assigned to defend the borderline between Aldabra and Sesau, Cairn faced the advancing Aldabran Armies and kept his ground for as long as he could. Even though he did all he could, there was a factor he did not foresee: betrayal. His friend Charles Masia, a former captain and now sworn enemy, handed down the frontier fortress and blamed Cairn for it. Cairn faced trial and was stripped of his position as head of the Aleria Guard, thus falling in disgrace. Swearing he would clean his name, Cairn now sets on a journey to proof his innocence and gain the life he lost...
The Tragic Events that sealed the fates of the "Silverwing Twins"
Julius...
Being the first born son and Lucius'twin, the heirs of the Silverwing Family which has been highly involved with military activities since it was established, Julius was trained in the Arts of Swordsmanship since he was five years old not having the opportunity to socialize with people of his age becoming one of the main reasons of why he is so antisocial. After becoming captain of a small unit at the age of fifteen thanks to his excellent leadership capabilities, Julius has experienced both the advantages and disadvantages of war, and earned the fame of being quite cold with both friends and foes alike. Strange though, Julius has the tendency of becoming quite a sentimental guy every time he is near the person he cares about, the daughter of his father’s best friend. Unfortunately, Julius is not good when dealing with deceptions and has the tendency of blaming himself for everything negative that happens all around him, one of the main reasons why his father fears him, because Julius can be quite cruel once he begins to hate himself. His mother's name is Lady Lady Irene Loyalheart and his father is Lord Alexander Mathias Silverwing.
On that same timeline Lucius story began to unfold....
Much after Lady Irene Loyalheart gave birth to Julius, another child was born, and he was named Lucius. Being the exact opposite of Julius, Lucius was a rather cheerful young boy until he was 15 years old. After that he meets a certain girl that changed his life. He fell in love with that girl but was greatly devastated after discovering that she already loved another man. This brought a deepening hatred to develop inside Lucius' heart which was great enough to draw the darkness to him. One day, an evil spirit tried to fight its way inside Julius’ heart, but it plans were foiled by Lucius. Turning his dark curse on the young man, the dark spirit inhabited Lucius’ mind, which was already poisoned, and turned him into the ruthless tyrant he is now.
A year after Julius and Lucius were born....
Since he was born, Maximilian was destined for the greatness. Being part of one of the wealthiest families, Maximilian was trained by the best warriors and was tutored by the greatest of scholars. As a result, he became highly intelligent and had many objectives such as becoming a renowned scholar since the tender age of 11. Even though he was raised as a king, Maximilian’s heart was empty and his soul was dry. He never had the chance to make any friends thus becoming a cold hearted young man. Suddenly he meets his “true” friends at the age of 16, and among these friends he fell in love with Dareisha. Sadly, he never had the chance to confess his love to her before she was sent to another state. Tormented by his lack of courage and the hatred he felt towards his cowardice, Maximilian entered a state of self destructive mood. His friends were forced to leave him behind due to life issues and thus causing much sadness to Maximilian. As a result, Maximilian blames himself for not being able to confess his love to Dareisha and bid farewell to his friends. In a desperate search for answers of why he was not able to fully express his feelings, Maximilian cursed himself, “love” and “friendship, and ended up sealing his sad fate, to walk alone without feeling “true love” once again.
